PrintNo matter WHAT happens this year, superbowl, playoffs, or nothing...This I think is mandatory for next year and beyond...First, we need a balance between run/pass..about 50-50..this will keep BB around longer..We should sign a decent running back to replace FWP...he makes 5ml..who will be available via free agency? We will need the two headed monster in the back field...draft...CB/SS, ILB, nose tackle and maybe a right guard/tackle..no need to waste a draft pick on a RB..we will need an experienced backup to Mendy to also keep him fresh and healthy..would love cb/ss Berry from tennessee...can we get him the way we got troy?

He's scheduled to make 8 mil a year next season
the saints are more then likely gonna release him so he’s not gonna have a whole lot of choices. I doubt many teams are gonna be willing to pay, an underachiever so far in his career, 8 mil a year and we’re payin willie 5 mil. Not totally out of the realm of possibility

Chester Taylor I think but he is gettin ga little long in the tooth
If we draft a guy I say go with Noel Devine great speed and is an RB not a sprinter like Reggie Bush, but Noel has to leave a WVU a year early if we want to draft him.

Reggie Bush needs to be put into a new system. The Saints aren’t trying to use him as a “runner” because theyre a pass first team. Im not saying we should go after him, but you never know what he could do in a new system that tries to use him more as a running back.

Crazy as it sounds
I think Bush could be a real useful bit player in a lot of other offenses. Brees rarely throws check downs, he puts the ball in great spots for down field receivers. Bush could be a high percentage target, who can make guys miss. Would love to see him in Pittsburgh for a season

What about Lendale White? He’ll be a FA in 2010. He hasn’t done much and might be cheap enough for us to sign. Or maybe Cadillac Williams? Never know maybe Parker is willing to stay for less money.

FWP has turf toe…and is 29..need to get younger…cadillac williams…injured too often..Lendale white? Do we really want him with that BIG mouth after they disrespected the Terrible towel? Why is he not getting carries there? Yes, chris johnson is great, but he too needs a blow..
