Ben Should Sit Today
I know I'm a Ravens fans and some of you wil think this is just to give the Raiders a chance to win today. However, I think the Steelers with Dennis Dixon are still good enough to win without Big Ben. While I heard that Ben is symptom-free from the exercise-induced headaches he was experiencing prior to last week's game against my Ravens, but that is just not good enough.
I realize that not only does the team want to see him in there, he is a warrior and wants to play as well. However, I just did a story over at my site, Baltimore Beatdown, about the so-called new stance that the NFL is taken on concussion issues and it is just not good enough for the players' benefits. Check it out and also read the first comment by a guy who seems to know a lot about the ignorance that the league has had about this long overdue issue.
For Steelers' fans, they will see a couple of former Steeler greats written about. I wrote about the October issue of GQ, where HoF center Mike Webster is a major component, and the first commenter wrote about former Steeler lineman Terry Long. Check it and get ready to see the game from a scarily different perspective.

Brave opinion about DD and one I agree with.
I agree
Dixon probably would have won that game!
You have to hate losing more than you love winning.
Maybe missing my point
Regardless of the game itself, Ben’s head is just not all better just because he passed some tests. Ironically, the NFL tests that are supposed to be from an “independent source” come from a company owned by the Steelers physician who developed it and sells it to the league. Gee , not quite “independent.”
My point is that Ben should have sat out another week and the team should have been confident the way Dixon played against the Ravens would have been good enough to win yesterday. In many ways, Dixon brings a part of the game that Ben cannot and that scares defenses. But then again, that wasn’t my point either.
