Average secondary without Polamalu

I believe that Polamalu was out either part or the entirety of every loss this year. The secondary is ridiculously average without him. It's been since Woodson that we had a shut-down corner (Mel Blount before that...). Ligashefsky and Arians are the "Lame Brothers." The time for words is over now, as is the season, most likely. Arians was the luckiest horrible O.C. to ever win a Super Bowl. As they say, even a blind squirrel finds a nut from time to time...

Average?

After watching Gradkowski shred them I’d say more like horrendous close to worst in the league. When do we see what Keenan and Burnett can do in a full game? I know Burnett dropped an INT which would have closed the game, but we come to expect that now.

Even though he dropped that pass he played it almost textbook

even if Gradkowski puts some air under the throw he is still in position to tip it or make the catch so I think he should start over Gay at least for Thursday against the Browns

I agree he played it perfectly. When I saw him break on the ball I said immediately to myself I want Burnett starting over Gay. But him being in position to make a play isn’t enough, we have to finish. It still stands that our DBs got shredded through the air by an extremely below average QB playing for an awful team.

1 play

and you can decide that Burnett is better than Gay?

lol ok then…

Gay would have been defending the Sideline from something and let Chaz Shillings get open

When you go an entire year and see reciever after reciever that no one has heard of get open on William Gay all year and you see a guy perfectly play a ball when you know if gay was in there it would have been a touchdown you have to think that he should been starting for us

Burnett made a play on the ball, Gay as he has shown all year makes a play on the receiver after he catches the ball. No where did I say Burnett is better, but I will say why the hell not see if he is. Give him a shot, can’t be any worse than we are getting from Gay. I was fine with Gay being given a shot at the beginning of the year to see what he could do, and he han’t gotten it done. So yea maybe I am saying Burnett is better than Gay, we just haven’t gotten to really see it.

Yea average is a little too much praise.

Completely forgot about JB’s dropped INT. God he must feel awful right now. Can’t really blame him. Mundy was like the 6th Oakland receiver for us.

BTSC Obituaries

OldManSteeler, ominously died two days before Superbowl 123 where the Ravens are set to attempt their 7th superbowl win, facing the Detroit Lions on Sunday. He was 86. His last words are believed to be "MALOR CAN SUCK IT!!!". Like friends and family, we can only guess what this could mean.
