Well, at least there is this -
special teams didn't totally suck. We all need to look for positives to take away from today. Dig deep, people, and let's post some encouraging stuff. In addition, I recommend contacting someone who cares about you and putting yourself on their Suicide Watch List. I chose my daughter. I told her that one call per hour, around the clock, should do it...
Okay, seriously, it's only football. Only 2 teams out of 32 can make it to the Superbowl, and only one of those can win. Seems pretty certain that we will be None Of The Above this year, but we can't win every year, and so it goes. Now, all together, breathe deeply and remember that the sun will still come up tomorrow. Not that we'll see it here in Pittsburgh.
Oops, slipped back to the dark side for a moment. Okay, another positive thing, and then I'll throw it out to you all. I thought that Ben looked in command, and he had some great throws. Next?

Yes, he did
but I missed the INT on the goal line in the first half (was in transit from watching an online stream to a local bar).
After all, he gave the D not one but TWO different leads in the second half, thanks to great throws…and the defense laid an egg.
Is it me, or is Dick LeBeau getting VERY conservative on his coverage in late-game situations? Doesn’t seem he’s blitzing as much. To me, looks as though it’s a lot of 4 rushing, 7 covering, and that’s it. Rush either doesn’t get there, or is a step too late.
Missed opportunities again
and Mundy’s “mishap” penalty…. sheesh. That’s ok. I threw my Terrible Towel in the wash after this game. Gonna start downey fresh for the Browns on Thursday!!

Wow, if fabric softener scent is the most positive thing we can come up with
then I’m going to hide under the covers on Thursday night.

Well it sure can't hurt.
Besides, if it washes the crud of the last 4 losses off of it…. then it was worth the lavender. I’ve moved to the superstitions now. Conventional wisdom has failed. I’m gonna channel Myron soon.. lol

Superstitions
You know I have one of those myself. Every week, with the exception of last week, when I pull my Polamalu jersey over my head we win, EVERY TIME!!! But the second Bengals game I wore BB’s, lost. Then Troy went down, so I thought I’ll try to get us a win and maybe get the superstitious stuff to jump from his jersey to PArker’s which I wore for the KC game, lost. Ravens game I figured what the hell we need a win badly and when Troy goes on we win, lost. Tried again to get it started with Parker’s, lost. I have nothing left. Don’t own anymore jerseys.
Maybe I need to switch lucky Steelers earrings -
the ones I’ve been wearing seem to have run out of juice. I’m nervous about washing towels – acrollet washed his last week before the Ravens game and look where that got us. Maybe we are looking in the wrong place for answers – it isn’t offense, or defense, or special teams, or coaching – it is that too many people are washing their towels. Or not washing them. Wait – my head hurts even more now…

See... it's confusing.
I got a new pin for my birthday (given to me by a Titans fan) and you can bet that is going in the jewelry box before Thursday. Maybe it’s a reverse curse?? Hm. I would change the earrings though momma. Just in case…
