The one thing I always counted on is that the Steelers are a Defensive team first. I'm not sure I can say the same thing this year. Did Ben's early season success result in a change or was there an intent to change the team?
How many time have we all watched the Defense close out games? I don't think I can even count the number of times the opposing offense got the ball with time enough on the clock to win it in, and then I watched the D step up and close the game. That's what made us winners and it defined the Steelers for me. You always here that Defense wins titles. The Offense can win a lot of games, specially early in the season, but at the end of the year with the weather getting colder and with everyone playing for keeps, it seemed the Steelers D was what made the difference. Is this Tomlin, Ben, Arians, or just the normal ebb and flow of a team as things always change? I'm confused.
