Steelers Wild Card Hopes look good.

If the Steelers win out they would eliminate 3 of the 4 teams ahead of them by beating Baltimore(assuming Green Bay holds on), and Miami, and having a better conference record than the Jets.  That leaves only the Jaguars who have to win three of four against  Miami, N.E., Indy, and Cleveland.  Not an easy task.   The toughest part may actually be winning the four games, but  its as close to controlling their own destiny as one could hope for.   Go Packers, Pats,Dolphins, Colts!!!!    Carry on my wayward sooooooooooooonnnnn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

green bay is choking as we speak

and i agree that if we win out we’re probably in, but after watching the past four weeks the chance of winning out with this secondary would be a miracle. troy needs to come back asap.

I agree

winning is the toughest part. Yes there is still time but it will not happen without drastic improvement. Next week will show win or lose. Lose and we are pretty much done, barely squeak by and I think we are pretty much done. Kick the crap out of them and play like we want to be in the playoffs and we may have a shot.

OR

Denver needs to win three of four against the Colts, Raiders, Eagles, and Chiefs. Not easy to win in Indy or Philly.

How did that ...

choking turn out? The Packers showed the Steelers how it should be done. Faced with Ole Mo putting on his Purple Pimp uniform, the Packers righted the ship and sealed the deal. Yes, it helped that Joe made some poor decisions, but he did that in the face of tough defensive football and yes, I’ll say it … Steelers football. That said, I could not believe Harbaugh gave up the ghost with more than a minute left to play. That my friends, was poor offensive play calling. The day I see the Steelers quit with time on the clock is the day I shed myself of black and gold. Until then, I’ll live and die with them [but after all, it is just a game].

I agree with this post big time

You never know when momentum will turn around, and we have seen in the past that all you need to do is get to the playoffs, not impossible. This team is still one of the most talented out there, and pulling out a close win could completely alter there attitude.

It looks bad now, but all is not yet lost. Each of the remaining games is very winnable. Ive seen to many seasons where a team looked defeated and done for, only to rise from the ashes. Steelers in 05 for example, don’t kid yourself, when we were 7-5 that year we were done for according to everybody. Beat Cleveland and we still have life.

13 years and no playoff wins for the Dallas Cowboys... SWEET!
