            The first of February is finally upon us. The journey that began with 32 hungry teams is now down to the final two. The AFC representative is one of the most successful franchises in Super Bowl history. The Pittsburgh Steelers enter the game seeking their sixth Super Bowl title, which would be the most all time. The NFC representative on the other hand is in their first Super Bowl in franchise history. The Arizona Cardinals have defied all the odds to get to their first Super Bowl, and now they must continue their magical run for one more game in order to be crowned champions.

           ARIZONA WILL WIN IF they protect Kurt Warner. The key to Arizona’s offense has been the same all year, and it’s making sure Warner’s jersey stays clean. If Kurt isn’t getting hit then he has the comfort to put his extremely accurate arm on display for us all to watch. Arizona must also remain balanced on offense. The running game and production from Edge has been huge in this playoff run. On defense Arizona must prevent Ben Roethlisberger from prolonging the play. When the Cardinals get pressure on Ben they must bring him down to prevent the big play or force him to make uncomfortable throws from the pocket, which will lead to turnovers. Arizona needs to prove they can do all this early because if they don’t this can turn into a blowout.

PITTSBURGH WILL WIN IF they get to Warner. The knockdowns and sack stats will be vital and shown throughout this Super Bowl. These defensive pressure stats are a Pittsburgh specialty, and apply strain on their opponents. On offense Ben Roethlisberger needs to protect the ball. If he doesn’t turn the ball over, the Steelers are certain to have the big advantage. Fast Willie Parker must produce today, as the Arizona defense is likely to key in on pressuring and confusing Ben.

PREDICTION- Despite how impressive Arizona has been in their playoff run I just think Pittsburgh is the better team here in Super Bowl 43. The Steelers defense should be able to confuse the Cardinals offensive line with scattered looks and be able to hit Warner. This will disrupt the rhythm of the Arizona passing game enough to force some turnovers and gain a lead. Arizona will bail on the running game that was been so vital to their playoff success. Pittsburgh’s offense will do a great job at staying balanced, and will cash in with some big plays through the air and on the ground. Look for a big night from Willie Parker. But in the end the Steelers will be too much. Pittsburgh 34-19
