PrintAfter storming out of the gate, the Pittsburgh Steelers find themselves in a dog fight. Ben Roethlisberger has looked great, but a tipped ball at the line of scrimmage led to a Carlos Dansy INT in Steelers territory.
Rather than re-write everything, I will just say that the previous paragraph was written before the James Harrison pick-6 INT for a TD. Wow. What a momentum changing play for the Defensive Player of the Year.
The opening drive for Arizona to start the 2nd half is going to be huge. A stop there and a drive of our own and we'll be in business. Arizona's responded once before though.
Oh yeah to those who were still wondering if this defense was championship caliber?? How about shutting down the Birds after a long punt return, then scoring after the unfortunate pick by Roethlisberger.
30 minutes to get it done. Let's do it!

Unfortunately, the Super Bowl record for fewest rushing yards for a team is New England (7 versus Chicago). But maybe we can tackle “The Edge” for a loss…

The Immaculate Interception
Wow. That’s all I can say after seeing perhaps the single most amazing play in Super Bowl history. A minimum 10-point swing, probably 14 points. a 240-pound linebacker going the length of the field on the last play of the half, staying in bounds, dragging two wide receivers into the end zone … ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME???!!!!!!!!!!!
The 10-point lead is not safe but we’re in good shape. Another TD could be enough. They need a bit more pressure up the middle and a continued good mix on offense … 30 minutes from the sixth Super Bowl guys. Hang in there and cheers from Honduras, where the cerveza is flowing.

I say go single coverage man on man with Ike
and make warner keep throwing the quick passes but change the LB’s and Troy to cover the flats. Keep bringing the pressure up the middle

agreed guys were too open but we also takcled very poorly. Lots of 5 yard gains turned into 8-12 yard gains
