This is the greatest ...
thing about the Super Bowl victory. Both the Steelers' official website and CNN SI's Steelers' website post the final game's score and it spends the off season on the front page. It was extremely disheartening to see the Jax 31 Steelers 29 score for the entire 2008 off season. Blissfully, one can re-visit the 2008-2009 glory as both sites now show Steelers 27 Cardinals 23. It makes it a lot more appealing to check in each day.

It does the same thing for me
on MyYahoo. On my team calender it still shows the SB score and the final score of my gators beating Oklahoma 24-14. I usually scroll down to admire the scores at least once a day. ;D

I suppose ...
but does it matter?
It could be deleted as well.
You could have ignored it as well.

Doesn’t really matter, but I think in general the idea of fanposts is to be things that will potentially generate discussion regarding the steelers, whereas fanshots might be links, pictures, or other items that likely won’t generate much conversation.
Blitzburgh hasn’t posted any guidelines so there is nothing official and it’s all opinion oriented anyhow. Personally I like things like (http://www.behindthesteelcurtain.com/2009/2/18/763779/could-the-steelers-pick-up) to remain on my front page longer so that I can comment on them easier without looking through all the fanposts. Having lots of fanposts pushes them off more quickly.
It’s all opinion though.
Don't worry about the haters. Haters only hate.
