For all of you who don't know, Pat White is a simply electrifying QB from West Virginia. He's set multiple NCAA records during his stay there, and now he's finally coming into the NFL. He was also the MVP of the Under Armor Senior Bowl, after going 4 of 9 passing for 95 yards with a touchdown and 31 yards rushing on 3 rushes - totaling 126 yards with a touchdown. However, many higher-ups in the NFL wish to see White become a WR/KR in the NFL instead of a QB, especially because he is such an explosive athlete. But Pat White has several times said that he wants to stay as a quarterback.
So why am I bringing this up?
Fact is, his dream has always been to play for the Black and Gold. http://www.register-herald.com/sports/local_story_025233152.html?keyword=secondarystory
There is no denying that he has an immense amount of talent, something any team needs in surplus. However, since we have Dennis Dixon, should we go for Pat White? There's really no guarantee that if we DO draft PW, that he would consider moving to WR/KR. Look at what happened with the Slash. So, what are your thoughts? Should we draft him, and try to move him, or leave him be, because we already have Dixon?
