Its Official: Nate Going To Tennessee
Well, we were all expecting this, and now its official. Nate Washington has agreed to a deal making him a part of the Tennessee Titans. The contract is good for six years at $4.5 mil per season.
I guess this was to be expected, but I was still clinging to some blind hope where he would stay a steeler. We will definitely miss his explosiveness and ability to make big plays. All this means is that the SWEED will need to step up big as the #3 WR. He's got some large shoes to fill, but i think he's more than capable to do so.

fastest Steeler?
I read recently that Nate Washington was the fastest Steeler. Is this true? How does his speed compare to Santonio or Limas? Do the Steelers need to draft another WR burner in the latter part of the draft?
Yeah
Nate was the fastest of the 3, but Santonio is no turtle either… we should be ok with Holmes going for the deep ball along with Sweed and Ward doing the dirty business in the middle

Fastest WR?
Washington was probably the fastest wide-out, but I dunno about the fastest Steeler. I mean, put a Browns fan 40 yards down field from Deebo and stand back…
Tiffin Thunder
Looks like Tiffin Thunder is gonna be a Ten Teeth Titan. Sigh… I hate em and he stanks.
That's by 40 time
As we all know, that doesn’t mean he’s the fastest on the field.

Lol
But the refs’ eyes are faster still.
This is Pittsburgh Steeler Troy Polamalu getting knocked around by the Pacific Ocean in Hawaii yesterday...
Minutes later, Troy caught the ocean going over the middle and smacked it right in the mouth. The ocean fumbled, Troy recovered and ran it into the endzone. The ocean never messed with Troy again.

Not sure
but I think Ike Taylor ran a 4.24 40 yard dash in the summer (was a post by a user-can’t remember who).

Oh well
He did well for us. Losing him puts an even bigger spotlight on Limas. But this is not one of the FA loses that was causing sleepless nights.

no worries man
was deserving of a fanpost of its own eventually.
Chalk me down for “this was expected and I’m not too disappointed.” I remember when nobody liked him because he couldn’t catch and now everyone is miserable he’s leaving. If Sweed takes as long to learn to catch as Nate we’re still better off, because he’s a better all-around talent to start with.

Not the biggest loss
I think we will survive. Although he did start to get that deep ball down pat really well this year.
Limas Peed better shape up. We cant go a whole year with one great WR, and one Great Aging WR.
B. Mcfadden possibly
hope he doesnt tho…

When you have to get excited about your rivals number 3 WR leaving you know you are screwed.
Don't worry about the haters. Haters only hate.
He's just happy

LOL
that is just funny, the ravens lost scott, def cord ryan, cut a starting corner, and will probably lose their returner/ ss leonhard, and you r cheering about a #3 receiver who’s replacement is already on the team, that is just funny

Goodbye Nate!
We appreciated all your work! Enjoy the 2 rings and the fat contract with Tennessee!

Dont be a dumbass
Just make sure you save some of that. Stash a few mil away in a high yield savings. Stay out of the market right now.
With that kind of cash buy Santonio’s Super Fine and a couple doobies too for you guys to split.
Peace nate…. Next time I see ya I’ll be sure to inform you I hate ya and you stank.
Too bad...
Just when he was getting good. I really liked him this year but probably not worth that kind of money.
