Patriot Paranoia
To me it seems that Steeler Nation is a little too worried about what the Bellicheats from the Northeast have been doing in FA this offseason. I agree the return of their QB does improve their team. Also the four draft picks they have in the first sixty picks should produce some good players. This team also will be in the playoffs this season (with an 11-5 or 12-4 record likely), but this is only a reflection of their pathetic division and not an indication of their strength. As other teams have shown (see Dallas, Washington, Oakland) adding aging, high profile players does not improve team chemistry or record. The signings of Taylor, Bodden, Springs and Galloway show desperation not genius.
Does anyone remember what Harrison and Woodley did to them last year ? Unless Bellish!t knows how to bring Tony Boselli and Orlando Pace back from the dead the team will struggle when playing the STEELERS. The cheaters have done nothing to address their biggest weaknesses. The offensive line was man handled by the Steelers. Moss showed signs of decline last year. Galloway and Welker are aging smurfs. Brady is coming off major surgeries and they have no backup QB. Remember our team has won more Super Bowls in the last five years then our most hated rival. The Steeler way has been working and if we have a fair to good draft and posssibly add a FA veteran the STEELERS will be the team to beat again next year.

Way to bring some sanity to the masses.
Though I am still pissed off that they get so damn many comp picks so high vs what we got.
"Damnit mom! You almost ran over Greg Lloyd!"
at an autograph signing back in 95. He walked out in front of our minivan, and my mom almost hit him. He apologized.

Pats are way overrated
Sure they have a great passing game, but beyond that what do they have? An ancient defense, no running game (what happened to Laurence Maroney? He show up late to a practice?) You shut down their passing game, they’re done.
It's true what they say...Even the NFL's Big Wigs hate the Steelers. On the plus side, I can now tell my future grand kids about Hines Ward and how the NFL made rules because of him. Roger Goodell, you make me sick.

I hate them
but make no mistake, they will be better next year, and hopefully we’ll get a chance to smack them in the palyoffs.
Behind enemy lines
I live in NE and get a pretty consistent dose of Patriotsmania every year. In fact, I’ve been known to root for these guys when the Steelers haven’t looked like their usual playoff-caliber selves. So, while I do hate ’em and they stank, I feel some recognition needs to be given to their organization.
1. Saying that “all the Pats* have is a passing game” is like saying Pittsburgh only has a defense.
2. They went 11-5 this past year. Yeah, I know they had an easy schedule, but they did it without the center piece of that passing game.
3. Yes, Brady and Moss are over thirty… along with Deebo, Potsie, Aaron Smith, Big Snack, Townsend, and Kiesel. And that’s just our starters on defense.
4. They have a weak running game?
5. FWIW, I love watching Welker play. He makes catches, he’s a miss machine, and he will get back on his feet after being Clarked. What’s not to love?
There we go. Just keeping it real.

Welker fan
I too enjoy that man. Moss not so much cause he just costs on natural talent, but Welker is a scrapper who gets it done with wiles and tenacity.
But I do feel that there organization has been showing signs of weakening. They used to be happy building from within, but recently they’re throwing large chunks of change and bringing in older stop gap players in an effort to hold together what’s left of their dynasty.
