Farve who retires after the Green Bay incident. Young who wants to kill himself. And Alexander who isn’t even heard of anyomre even though he’s with the Skins because his legs feel off. TP isn’t retiting. He’s happy with the Steelers. HE has 2 rings with the Steelers. He is still young and in his prime. And he’s 1 of our top players. Don’t get your hopes down.

Ray Lewis had a down year after the curse showed up. Need I say more about Vick? McInjured didn’t do so hot.

Basically anyone who’s been on the cover has either retired, gotten injured, or had a subsequent lousy season.

In reality though, and perhaps a good sign. Ray Lewis is probably the only one thats faired well.

It’s time Madden gives a defensive player the cover. We’ve had QB, QB, RB, and QB (Donovan MCNabb). I don’t know who was on the cover before that.

I heard this is speculation and that also Mr. Roethlisberger was considered.

I dont know that this is for sure yet. is it?

Its just rumors

I read on EA that Ed Reed and AP are two of nine players being considered. Also in the talks are a “brady Bunch” type cover with many different players….And Ben isnt one of those considered, but they used him in an image from Madden 10 to show the differences

Well on the Bright side, this is the first Steeler ever to be on the cover...

But on www.madden2010.com it makes it clear that “There can only be One” http://maddennfl.easports.com/cover.action

It's true what they say...Even the NFL's Big Wigs hate the Steelers. On the plus side, I can now tell my future grand kids about Hines Ward and how the NFL made rules because of him. Roger Goodell, you make me sick.

steelers have beaten a few of these things last season

anyone remember the browns game in the middle of the season? , the story was that 51 matches in a row or whatever, whoever scored first would then go on to win the game. Well, steelers broke that one that day, as the browns scored first. I tried doing some searches, but that’s a tough thing to try and find. All i remember was seeing that on the tv during the game.

There was at least 2 other similar such things that were going against them, and they persevered. I think people spend far to much time on young sacred cows. :)
