KWII CONTRACT X Heath Miller Free-agent?
Hey guys, I am really worried about the Kellen Winslow's, Jr. Contract. He will be the highest paid TE m and he didnt do nothing to earn that!
Miller will be a free-agent next year, I think we would have problem renewing his contract! He is so valuable to our offense, but we cant pay him like this crazy Franchises!
Well, I think we are gonna draft a TE in the mid-rounds, what do you think, just for an insurance? Not Pettigrew(that topic was just for discussion, was not a real possibility)!
Let me know what you guys think.

Well i’d assume that we’ll have Heath for at least another 2 years if there’s no cba before the 2010 season, since he’ll just end up being an RFA and not a UFA then. So, I don’t think there’s any need to consider it a need right now.
Still, a monster blocking tight end would be sweet in the later rounds…

The CBA
situation isn’t something that we can rely on. As the son of a union president, I feel that a deal will be done in time. We need to move forward as if he will be a free agent, and judging by the use of one of our visits (TE from UNC) it’s an idea that is, if nothing else, in the back of the FO’s minds.
There are a couple of semi project TE’s in this draft. I really like the upside of the guy from Rice, James Casey. A big time athlete, but played minor league baseball for a while, so he’s not the youngest project guy, but his skills are undeniable. Look up his numbers from the last season. They’re out of this world. Not a real good blocker though, but with us spreading the field a little more, he may be a fit for where this offense seems to be heading.

heaths agent, heath really seems like the kind of team player that would stay for less money than he could get somewhere else- of course i have never actually met him
