My preliminary 53 man roster

At this point i think the roster should be:

QB: Big Ben, Dixon, Chuck

QBs are set unless we unearth the next Mr.Brady.

RB: FWP, Mendenhall, Moore

Two are proven and the third is a first round pick. RBs check.

FB: The Tank

Goodbye Carey. We finally get a FB/short yardage back. Please don't make him return kicks.

TE: Miller, Spaeth, McHugh

It'll be hard to un-seat these three with the guys we have behind them.

WR: Ward, Holmes, Sweed, Wallace, Nance

Yes you're reading that right. I have Nance beating out the other WRs. Mark it down and don't be surprised when it happens.

LT: Starks, Capizzi

Biggest guys on the team make up the LT position.

LG: Kemo, Essex

Kemo and Essex re-signed, nuff said.

C:Shipley, Legursky

Yes Shipley beats out Hartwig and we save some cizash. Leg has potential with a little coaching.

RG: Urbik, Stapleton

Urbik is an upgrade and stapleton proved he could fill in.

RT: Hills, Colon

Hills takes the spot from Colon and Bye Bye Colon next year.

LE: Smith, Eason, harris

Proven, proven backup, and i think Harris has too much potential to be left on the practice squad without someone snatching him up.

DT: Big snack, Hoke, Paxson

Hopefully Paxson can come along this year.

RDE: Smith, Hood

Present, Future.

LOLB: Woodley, Bailey, A.Harrison

Steelers never have enough LBs.

MLB: Farrior, Timmons, Fox

Hopefully Timmons will make us forget about Foote.

ROLB: J.Harrison, Davis, Frazier

Steelers never have enough LBs.

CB: Taylor, Gay, R,Lewis, K.Lewis, Burnnett

Taylor and Gay can be penciled in as starters. Both Lewis' can play CB or S, and Burnnett will be a ST ace.

FS: Clark

Proven with three possible backups on the team pulling double duty.

SS: Troy, Mundy

Mundy takes out the ancient, shrinking Carter.

K: Reed

Who else would it be.

P: Sepulveda

Off IR hope he stays healthy.

LS: Warren

Stay healthy so DeeBo doesn't have to step in.

I know i have all but one draft pick making the team, but i think this is the time to groom for the future and these guys seem to have the potential.
