Old school linebacker gets called names; call him a 9-time pro-bowler while you're at it

John Harold Lambert--also known as Jack--was of course one of the great NFL players of all time. It's hard to argue with the numbers: 9 pro bowl appearances, 4 Super Bowl titles, 1974 defensive rookie of the year, the 1976 defensive player of the year. Lambert was also named to the NFL's 75th anniversary all-time team; the consumate linebacker and ultimate Pittsburgh Steeler embodied everything that was rough, tough, and mean about the Steel City.
