Take the billboards from Polamalu?
Mike does have lot of confidence. I like his “swagger.” Very different interview from what we had from Limas and Mendenhall last year. Part of me questions the fact that he might have too much confidence, as it can be a bad thing sometimes? I hope I’m wrong, and his favorite rapper, Weezy? Lil’ Wayne of all people?! Horrible, horrible taste.
This is Pittsburgh Steeler Troy Polamalu getting knocked around by the Pacific Ocean in Hawaii yesterday...
Minutes later, Troy caught the ocean going over the middle and smacked it right in the mouth. The ocean fumbled, Troy recovered and ran it into the endzone. The ocean never messed with Troy again.

Lol
No love for Lil’ Wayne? I mean I’m not a big fan of his either but he’s got a couple of good songs. Anyway, like you said it’s a lot different from Sweed and Mendenhall, but maybe that’s a good thing. I just hope he keeps the swagger on the field and not do stupid things off of it like Holmes.
It's true what they say...Even the NFL's Big Wigs hate the Steelers. On the plus side, I can now tell my future grand kids about Hines Ward and how the NFL made rules because of him. Roger Goodell, you make me sick.

You're right
A couple of his songs, and just a couple are good. The rest is pretty much trash. I like Mike but from this interview, he seems a bit superficial. He doesn’t seem like a Pittsburgh kind of guy yet. The way he talks, it’s him first, to my understanding. He wants to be the star, and not just do it for the benefit of the team. know what I’m talking about? Or maybe I’ve just gotten accustomed to the players we already have that are outstanding people both out on the field and off it. Really though, I don’t care too much as of right now, all I want is some dependency and reliability along with that confidence, dependency that we didn’t get too much of from both Limas and Mendy last season.

It didn't come off to me as being self-important or me first.
He wants to be a superstar, I’d hate to see the NFL player that didn’t. But what I liked is his favorite college memory was a team win in a bowl game. He wants to win, and he wants to be the best, that’s what I want to hear.
Reminds me when they asked Geno Malkin if he’d rather win the scoring title or the Cup, he said he wanted both.

Yea
And the one thing that stood out to me from another interview with Wallace-which I unfortunately can’t remember where it came from-was the fact he’s not used to cold weather. He’s from down south and he said he’s never played in a cold game before, so it should be interesting to see how he adjusts to ’Burgh Weather.

To find a WR without at least a selfish leaning is pretty much impossible.
This interview doesn’t signal much to me, we’ll see how things pan out after the pre-season and season.
Don't worry about the haters. Haters only hate.

I'm sorry
I could’ve sworn I didn’t select front page when this was posted. I apologize if this is in the way.

Between Mike and Ike…that’s a tough one. I think Mike is just a smidge easier to understand, but Ike’s interviews are just hilarious. Both of them are such high character guys with tough stories.

I like it
I love the swagger from Mike Wallace. It can get on peoples nerves sometimes but for a WR its just what they need. If he ever cracks the starting lineup maybe Ike Taylor won’t be the only one to say “swaggin” instead of their Alma Mater on Sunday night football introductions! haha
