Big Ben Tweaks Knee

Stories out of Pittsburgh mini camp say Big Ben tweaked his knee pretty bad. Reports say he was limping pretty badly but trainer John Norwig reported there appears to be no damage.

Sure hope Big Ben is ok and didn't do anything to hinder his ability to get on the field for the Steelers in 2009. We need Big Ben as much or more than any other player on the roster. I personally can't think of anyone that would be more irreplaceable. Link to Post Gazette story below;

Lolley didn’t think it was much, but Ben didn’t return to practice. He also says Timmons stepped on him to cause the injury. He doesn’t mention a knee, just says he was limping.

UH OH

The league needs to have an owners meeting so the ‘Brady’ rule can be extended to practices. I’m sure no penalty was called but a fine can be levied. Certainly all danger must be taken out of the game.

Jack Lambert just called...

…and suggested all quarterbacks wear dresses during practice.

Ain’t no biggie, folks.

bwaaaahhaaahhaa

FYI – there’s a Facebook quiz out there that is “Which Steeler are you?”
I took it result is Lambert. One of my girlfriends took it and her result was Greg Lloyd.
A guy friend of mine took it to the result of Jeff Reid.
WTF? How did you answer the questions to get Reid…
and I know how I answered, Lambert is about right.
Anyway, just rambling about nonsense lol.

B.F.D.

I know we are literally starving for beloved Steeler’s info but ESPN and NFL Network so over blow every piece of minor information this time of year. Even if Ben had a meniscus tear, surgery would occur this week with a complete recovery by the end of the month. Training camp is still a month and a half away so there is plenty of time to heal up. Now if he tackles another car with his face, that a different issue than a damn “limp”.

I wasn't hired for my disposition!

Which is better?

Ben’s face tackle or the shoelace tackle against the Colts?

Relax folks

Dude will be fine. Its friggin June he has like two months before he even sniffs turf.

abnormal fat retention puts a lot of pressure on the joints. Rickybenbobby needs to lay off the Checkers value meals for a month or two. Better get him some Gump braces. On second thought, it would really suck watching him avoid a sack with the braces flying off and scrambling 20 yards for a score.

I don’t believe they have checkers in the Pittsburgh area, that half-assed chain of restaurants is indigenous to the DC/Bmore area.
