Tomlinism Tournament First Round Match 2

You can still vote for Match 1, while we move on to Match 2.  The 11-seed travels to the 6-seed:

Poll
Which of these two Tomlinisms do you like more?
#11 Seed: "We shall defend every blade of grass" (talking about his defense giving every ounce on every play)

#6 Seed: "I don't care how my players evaluate me. I evaluate them. How's your editor?" (bristled after a reporter asked him about his players' assessment of their coach)

yeah, that is an absolutely beautiful line

that line was fabulous, Tomlin consistently shows that a press pass earns no respect from him. He’s polite, but he isn’t nice. He also shot down any players wanting to criticize him. With a FO that backs the coach %100, Tomlin can pull this off.

Sure he can score goals, but can he cook?

I thought it would be a landslide, but I guess the difference is that #6 is not really a motivational quote intended to fire up the team, but instead some insight into how the man sees his role with respect to the media.

Guns don't kill people. Lamar Woodley kills people.

What a crappy slot for the #11seed.

I'm a bigger fan of #11

I love the mentality it imposes on his team. In a game of inches you defend the centimeter.
