I just cant vote against Number One

The man is not treating it like a job he has to do. He treats it like an honour that he wants to do, and do well

Agreed. It also is the same type of quote as #12. As long as Tomlin continues to be driven by steeler nation (and he is an excellent coach passenger), we will continue to hear quotes like the number 12 seed, not the other way around.

Don't worry about the haters. Haters only hate.

#12

I love #1, it’s a great quote, but it’s not the same caliber of “Tomlinism.”

Coach T’s best quotes are pithy metaphors that not only convey a ton of meaning but also demonstrate the unique outlook that makes him a great coach. #12 does that much better here.

Yeah in my opinion
  1. is the best of them all. #1 is great, and it makes you proud to be a part of Steeler Nation. However, #12 is just so original and well thought out.

# 12

Gotta love #12, It’s the perfect way to look at last season. Glancing at past, looking forward to the future.

#12

Apologies to its fans, but #1 lacks poetry. It’s a great thought, but it’s not executed as well as #12.

Love our Coach

Every time I read or hear a Tomlinism it make me love our coach that much more. He is a man of passion and will. His answers to the press and to us all are always strong, profound and best of all, to the point!! His knowledge and wisdom as a coach are still growing. He has made some mistake, but this a man, of whom I am certain, will only learn from every step of the process. Tomlinisms make great reading but to him he is only speaking from the heart.

This is stunning to me
  1. was pulled out of a can, something every other coach in any sport has told their team. Yes, it ws timely, but still a canned cliche. #1 was original, deep, and a profound compliment to all of us in Steeler Nation. I guess I feel the need to justify the opposite seeds, of which I was obviously wrong. That #1 saying makes me proud to be a Steelers’ fan, above and boyond all others combined.

That should say #12 was pulled out of the can

The system automatically quirks things.

Maybe 12 is cliche but

Ive never heard it before he said it (im 39 yrs old) and I like it. But Tomlin has used it before in the 07 season.
