Bad news - Flacco is getting better
This is according to K. C. Joyner - Flacco improved his bad decision percentage and vertical ypa quite a bit towards the end of last season. Looks like the steelers-ratbirds rivalry is here to stay...

Our already impressive pass rush will probably be improved too...
so that will help offset any Unibrow improvements…plus he has no one to throw it to! That’s what they get for over-payin for murderin ray. hilarious…another sweep of the north is on the way baby.
Harbaugh the real difference
The biggest change in Balto is the change of head coach! Billick played too conservative. Philosophy- Don’t turn over the ball and let your defense win the game. Harbaugh is more aggressive & lets his QB take chances, mixing in some trick plays. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. Harbaugh will have a tougher time in his 2nd year because defenses can better prepare for his play book. Flacco will improve, but does he have a receiving core? As Steeler wannabe’s the Ravens will mold Flacco in the image of Big Ben. I’m looking forward to a repeat of last years success against the crybabys that are Ravens fans. Living in Balto I am embarrassed when the Ravens, the fans and the media have someone or something to blame for every loss to the Steelers. Go Steelers!!
Where have you gone Johnny U?

KC Joyner is a retard. First off, there’s no effing way that 1 YPA is even close to statisticallty significant on what, 30 passes with huge variances on RAC? Yeah, and James Harrison is getting much better at intercepting passes: he went from 0 IPG in the first half of the season to .125 IPG in the second half, to .333 IPG in the playoffs. If we project this out, by 2011, he should be intercepting a pass every game.
Secondly, I remember him using his “bad decision metric” to predict the downfall of Roethlisberger early in his career. Whatever the statistic means (if anything), it has very little correlation to winning. With regards to this particular article, the variances are once again out of control: he cites a drop from 8 total bad decisions to 7 in Flacco’s half seasons. Give me a freaking break.
There’s no science in “Scientific Football”, just sensationalism and apophenia. Go to Football Outsiders if you want some real professionals.

If he is, that’s good. We can’t go deep in the playoffs every year sharpening our saw against a bunch of AFC North goofs… You all saw what happened last year – toughest sked = playoff readiness.
