Looks Good
But I’d be surprised if Burnett doesn’t line up as both a KR and PR, as that’s what he did in college, and he did both extremely well.

Highly Doubt
that they will cut Willie the Colon, and really doubt that Stapleton will be moved to the PS. If anything he will remain the backup to Urbik. And Mike Reilly wont be on the PS.

I disagree
with Reilly. I think they’ll keep him on the squad.

one can dream that one day Willie Colon will not be a Steeler.

Correct Me if I'm Wrong...
But I thought there were certain limitations as to who could be placed on the practice squad. I thought anyone who had suited up for a certain amount of regular season games (five?) is deemed ineligible for the PS.

According to Wikipedia
Each NFL team may keep up to eight members on their “practice squad” in addition to their 53-member main roster. They consist mostly of rookies who were cut in training camps and borderline NFL-caliber players. Both rookies and young veterans are eligible for the practice squad. However, a player cannot participate on the practice squad for more than three seasons, or if he has accrued a year of NFL experience (six or more games on a club’s 53-man active roster or official Injured Reserve list.)

Nope
BS MS
1) Think they will keep 5 RB not 4. Steelers run the ball and they will need a stable. Look for Carey Davis or Stefan Logan to be on the roster too if the Tank makes it.
2) Think they will keep 9 OL and Shipley won’t be one of them. Maybe PS for PSU. Colon will start at RT. Stapleton will initially start at RG until Urbik can supplant him sometime during the season…maybe.
3) Don’t think they will keep 8 DL, only 7. See you later Paxson.
4) They will keep 9 DB not 10.
5) They will keep 9 LB and one will be Andre Frazier. He is a ST star who they gave a raise to.
6) Frazier and Stapleton are ineligible for PS and only allowed 8 spots.
7) Ty Carter will be a safety on the roster. He is a capable ST player and Lewis is a DB if I’m not mistaken. Plus I can’t see Tomlin going into a season with only 2 safety’s with NFL experience. What if there is an injury?
8) You can’t dress all 53 MS. If Burnett and Wallace are returning kicks who isn’t dressing on game day? Look for MacDDonald to be the #3 WR and the #1 PR. Maybe K Lewis or MM can KR.
Think Burnett will make PS, Wallace makes roster and doesn’t dress. Only way Wallace dresses on gameday is if he is a stud returner in which case Limas will sit game day.

true
This is just how I wish that it would go. Oh I’m positive they won’t cut Colon or move Stapelton to the PS. I just wish they’d leave Willie C out and Stapleton becoemes a backup. Read somewhere that Roy Lewis was practicing as a safety, along with Townsend and Ratliff. You are right about Frazier too, but I see Bailey Woods and Davis getting more time over him; but I could be wrong.

Loved Woods last year in preseason. I too see him making an impact with Bailey, Madison and Frazier on ST. Don’t see much chance for Davis to dress unless injuries to LB corps but he will be a top back up OLB.
Neither of us appear to be big Willie Colon fans. We call him the human false start penalty.

1) Colon and Stap will both make the game day roster – and both will probably start the majority of the season. Although Urbik will have an honest shot at one of those positions.
2) It seems possible Townsend or Ratliff will be moved to Safety and R. Lewis will be back on the ps
3) Given his size and upside I’m not sure Foster makes it through waviers to the ps. But who knows.
4) Scott Paxson probably won’t be on the game day roster. I don’t know about the 53.
5) Unless Shipley really shows he could be the future at center I doubt he makes the active roster. With Urbik now, you can slide the Stappler over if Hartwig goes down without reserving a spot strictly for a backup at center.

Not bad
But Stapleton is a chance to start at the moment, and even if he loses the battle in camp, hes not going to totaly fall off the active squad, i also unfortunately dont see Colon being dropped, Capizzi will be on practice squad again.
