A poll...

That isn't a poll.

Star-divide

I'm bored, it's the 4th of July, and there's nothing going on at my house. My wife and son are asleep, and I need something to distract me from running outside to smoke a cigarette every 20 minutes. So, please, bear with me.

I want to know what everyone's favorite game time foods are. I'll list some of mine, you list some of yours, and maybe we can make game days a little tastier for all of us, win or lose.

Me personally, I don't care for wings all that much. What I DO love is homemade nachos. Yellow corn chips sharp cheddar cheese sprinkled liberally over said chips; garlic salt , garlic pepper, or Johnny salt; melt cheese in microwave; throw sour cream on top; enjoy!

Another one is hot pizza. Those Red Baron french bread pizzas, 4 cheese garlic, or the garlic chicken. Cook the za's, then sprinkle Cholula chili garlic hot sauce over them. So good! (BTW, have you guys figured out I LOVE garlic? and I'm not even Italian! HEHE)

On to the drinks. Personally, I like most ANYTHING that has alcohol in it. Not vodka based drinks though...ew. It's rum or whiskey for me. Don't get me wrong, I like beer too, but then again, who doesn't?

I think that's enough for now. Please leave your thoughts as to what your favorite game time foods/drinks are. I know it's not footy-footy-football related, or even Steelers related, for that matter, but like I said, I'm bored, and I know you are too.

It's really strange, but...

I can’t eat before or during Steelers’ games. I just get too nervous. But like on Saturdays when it’s college football, nothing beats nachos and grilled half-smokes or sausages. I’m with you on pizza; Papa John’s pizza with the garlic sauce to me is just where it’s at. I’ll fight somebody over that garlic sauce.

My "game-manager" QB just won the Super Bowl, while your stat-whore of a quarterback sat on his couch and watched!

Everything and anything

For the Superbowl. i had the couch covered in food, so that i wouldnt have to move. Usually cook up some hotdogs, meat sandwiches, with some chips, most likely corn chips etc and go wild

With Ladi on this one. I’m on liquids for Steeler games.
