Reincarnation and Deja Vu

Wow Steeler Nation. I just have to say wow. After last night's game against Arizona, I've come to notice a few things about your beloved Big Ben. I liked him before as a quarterback, but something about what I saw last night just set me on fire. I'm not really a guy that takes a big liking to players on other teams, although I am a fan of the game.

Well, it all was overridden by Big Ben's handling in last nights game. That goal line scramble he pulled to make the play last night was phenomenal and completely reminiscent of my dear friend, John Elway. I know #7 is #7's mentor in this case, and I'll be damned if it didn't show last night. I felt 10 years old again cheering at the quarterback scrambling, avoiding sacks in the end zone to make the play! It felt so good to see that same style of play again, I haven't seen it in 10 years. While all fans will disagree on the best quarterback of all time, none can argue that Elway is considered one of the greatest, and while it may fall on deaf ears here, Big Ben's on his way to being one of the greatest as well. It makes me say "Tom who?" which is really nice to say here in Patriots country.

Big Ben handles himself better and better as his career progresses and I honestly can't wait to see what this guy does for your team and the game in general. Hey, as long as he's not playing against my boys in orange and blue, I'll root for him all season. Good luck to you all again and I wish you the best of luck this year. May both our teams be successful and lacking injuries!

Cheers!
