It takes timing and confidence, he’ll get it during the season and will hopefully be a pleasant surprise to most of us. Making the right cuts and hitting the holes is the important part, yes he could have excelerated a little sooner on his two 7-9yd runs and maybe broke them for more, but you could tell he was worried about ball control and not fumbling as he came through the hole instead of turning on the speed, which allowed him to be dragged down by a diving LB. Maybe he never gets the confidence to turn on the jets….last time he did that R. Lewis broke him. But maybe he will. If he does he’ll be fine.
