Early picks

Hi all,

The Power ranking has started and of 4 or 5 I'd read, the Pats are the SB picks in the AFC, in one put the Steelers as a Wild Card. (HOWW!!!!). I know that there has to be the roster cuts and final touches to the depth in all the team, but this only represent a 10% of a team, in some cases like CLE, SF, NYJ, etc., this is an important move as they have to decide their starting QB, but also know that these team are not in a playoff run.

So, here are my predictions on winner and loser of the divisions and the two Wild Cards in each conference:

(Enjoy and please comment if you think I'm wrong)

(Please forget my grammar; English is not my native language)

AFC

East

Winner: Miami Dolphins. This team has a good attack, with 2 monsters RB's, with Pennington in command and a average WR's. There defense has Porter and the return of Jason Taylor, they will have a fierce battle with the Pats, but I don't trust in NE's D to make the run to division champions.

Loser: NY Jets. Sanchez is maybe the starter for them, and have a good RB tandem, but the adjust to the NFL of Sanchez will be a little more slow than expected, specially playing two a season against Miami and NE.

North

Winner: Pittsburgh Steelers. 20 of 22 starters return, the RB can be a hydra with 4 or 5 heads, for every imaginable situation, Big Ben is an elite QB, the WRs HOW, to SB MVP, Sweed, the bolt Wallace (he can be Usuain Bolt's brother), the OL will improve with the continuity they are getting. Nothing to tell on the number one defense except that Timmons is a starter now and I can't wait to see him play in the regular season. Steelers are my SB pick.

Loser: Cleveland Browns. The only difference between the Browns and the Bengals is the QB race. Also the Bengals WRs can kick field goals.

South

Winner: Tennessee Titans. Their defense is great and they only need a QB that can manage the game with those awesome RBs. Let see how Washington future as a starter goes here.

Loser: Jacksonville Jaguars. Maybe I'm waiting to much from Houston but I don't see much improvement in the Jaguars from last year and the Texans have the best WR in the league.

West

Winner: San Diego Chargers. I just hope this is not a bust season like last year.

Loser: Denver Broncos. How the broncos, chiefs and raiders compete for the worst team in the NFL this year, with the Broncos and Raiders finalist to the worst administration in the league.

Wild Cards: Baltimore Ravens and Indianapolis Colts

NFC

East

Winner: NY Giants. They have the players to make a SB run, the only question is Manning, I came to call him the "Schrodinger's QB" you don't know how will he play until he's in the field.

Loser: Washington Redskins. They don't have QB and Portis can't do the entire job.

North

Winner: Chicago Bears. They have a great defense, the best P/K returner, and with the addition of Cutler the offense can make that final jump to the great teams.

Loser: Detroit Lions. They will win games this year, but they still have too much work ahead.

South

Winner: NO Saints. This team is spectacular on Offense; still Bush has to step up as a leader. The defense is their weak spot but I believe they improve it on the offseason.

Loser: TB Buccaneers. They are reforming almost every unit in that team, I don't believe this will work right away.

West

Winner: Arizona Cardinals. They will destroy their division, no problems ahead until the post-season.

Loser: SL Rams. They are the remains of the greatest show on turf, and they refuse to leave the history behind.

Wild Cards: Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers.
