Tennessee Titans @ Pittsburgh Steelers: 2nd Half Open Thread

Well, if nothing else, I think it's safe to say that the 2009 season is going to be much like the 2008 season. Inconsistent offense, timely defense, solid special teams and loads of frustration for those fans looking for perfection out of the Black 'N Gold. It's 7-7 heading in to the 2nd half. The Titans will get the ball first and all eyes will be on whether or not Troy Polamalu and LaMarr Woodley return to action after being dinged up in the 1st half. Polamalu went to the locker room early after having his knee tweaked when Alge Crumpler fell on it. Woodley apparently is dealing with cramps.

Come on Steelers! Dig out a tough victory in what could be the team's toughest opponent all year.

Go Steelers!

Is there a Doctor who is a member here?

Other Forums say it looks like a sprain

I would like the opinion of a professional doctor here

Hopefully we’ll get an update soon from the x-rays or whatever

unfortunate

MD checking in here

I am an eye surgeon, of course went to medical school

I am not an orthapedist, however, this injury to 43 could easily be an MCL, meniscus injury, and unfortunately, even an ACL injury. Please realize that just because you can walk up a flight of steps, doesn’t mean you do not have ligament damage. Easily could be a torn ACL

I will, like all of you, wait for the MRI friday, and hope for the best

proof is in the pudding. look at the goalline drills in camp. redman just doesn’t give up. he may not have all the fundamentals like he should (he runs too tall, etc), but he churns. he would be helping us here.
