What Would You Spend Your Money On At Dick's SPorting Goods?

Behind-the-steel-curtain_blogger-giveaway_mediumI get a lot of promotional junk in  my email box each week. I typically delete most of it as the vast majority of the time, companies and/or people are just looking to piggy back off of the vibrant community we've established for ourselves here slowly but surely this past four years.

I thought I'd follow up on a recent offer I got though from Dick's Sporting Goods. They'd like to give away $100 to one of you for simply describing how you would spend a Benjamin at their store. You can peruse their inventory on their website.

So, the rules are simple. Just do the following:

  1. Follow Dick's Sporting Goods on Twitter. Here's a link to their account.

  2. Leave a comment below describing how you would spend the $100 and why. Be sure to also include your Twitter account name in your comment. And while you're at it, use the opportunity to follow some fellow BTSC brethren or to even take a plunge in to that strange thing called Twitter that everybody seems to be talking about. Hey, why not? If only for the free money even.

Good luck.

Can’t you put Ads on this site to make some extra money?

I don’t even know who the owners of this site are.

They should split the ad revenues with the moderator/owner of each team page that adds internet ads on these pages.

You can advertise Joe Flacco on here.

I’d spend $100 for some Forrest Gump leg braces for Troy.

Been wanting to go camping for awhile but gave the tent to my ex-gf when we broke up. Time’s running out on this summer season :/

Being slightly larger than the average man, I almost never see any XXXL jerseys. I’d take the $100, add $100 of my own and get a #7 Road Jersey in my size.

running shoes

Signed up for the Pittsburgh Marathon next spring, but I’m not a runner. Need to start.

I would put the $100 dollars towards a canoe…I live right off the Occoquan River outside of Washington DC, and lots of folks canoe around the Occoquan and even into the Potomac River which it connects to.

My Twitter Name is @DYmilshake…..

All of you who are attempting to enter the contest make sure you include your twitter name like Blitzburgh said in the instructions.

My soccer cleats just ripped and being a college student means spending the money elsewhere so I would get a pair of cleats and then with the leftover money I would probably get a new football.

I’d buy some running shoes, gym shorts, head band, jump rope, power bars and probably only work out for a week and never use the stuff again.

I think you would have to go to like the Salvation Army if you were getting all that for $100
