We're Satisfied
This team definitely looks satisfied with their accomplishments from 2009. No sense of urgency. No way James Farior doesn't tackle Brian Leonard on 4th and ten (where was Timmons, he definitely would have nailed him). Limas Sweed, what can we say, another year of drops. Mendendhall received 0 runs. Harrison and Woodley look like they are moving in slow mo. Casey Hampton was the only clear sack I saw (very impressive). Why didn't we send the house on 4th and 10 and make Palmer throw quick and tackle for less than 10.
Bottom line we better be 4-2 by the end of the next 3 games (Chargers, Lions, and Browns) or we can forget about the playoffs. I know we will be 4-2 by the end of the Browns game. No doubt in my mind.
We are leaving way too many points on the field. No the defense is playing up to 2009 capabilities. However, it's the offense turn to bail them out in 2010. Reed make some kicks (r u that pissed u didn't get a contract, at this rate it won't happen). Limas (Catch the ball, don't even think about running with it. Just fall down. Can anyone say Shawn McDonald.
Our 1st and 2nd round draft picks are misses and will be forever backups on the team until their contracts are up.

The two children of these spawned and fused in a tantric love session to create Troy Polamalu. The mother however died as he tore through the birth canal with a spin move."

THE FAN IN THE MIRROR
HEY STEELER NATION. HOW GOOD IT IS TO GET SLAPPED IN THE FACE THIS PAST TWO GAMES. AS WE FANS USE TERMS AS CHOKE, BUTTER FINGERS, LOSERS ETC. WE SHOULD LOOK AT OURSELVES AS PART OF THE STEELER TEAM THAT GOES OUT WEEKLY TO GIVE EVERYTHING WE HAVE FOR THE “TEAM”. BOTTOM LINE IS WE LOST, AND AS A TEAM WE SHALL TAKE THIS LOST. NO FINGER POINTING. EVERTHING ELSE IS JUST MAKES GOOD SOAP OPERA. THE FAULT LIES NO WHERE BUT THE STEELERS N THE STEELER NATION. SO SHUT UR CRYING N LETS MOVE ON TO SANDIEGO AS WE SHOULD, A NATION OF STEELERS THAT IS BATTLE TESTED REGARDLESS OF THE OUTCOME. THE RESULT OF A GAME IS AS GOOD AS THE NATION THAT PRIDES ITSELF OF THE <KNOWING WHO WE ARE< N THE <KNOWING OUR ABILITY < IN WHAT WE ARE ABLE TO DO. BENGALS PLAYED A GAME THAT WAS ABOUT MAKING PLAYS. WE DID NOT DO IT. THEY DID. SO CONGRATS TO THE BENGALS ON THE WIN, STEELER NATION PLEASE JUST SHUT THE FUCKK UP. NO CRYING N NO EXCUSES. TAKE OUR LUMPS N BUMPS LIKE STEELERS. OUR TIME WILL COME. SO WITH MUCH LOVE N ALOHA TO THE BLACK N GOLD. CONGRATS TO THE BLACK N ORANGE. STEELER NATION IN ALL HUMILITY, THE LOVE IN US IS GREATER THAN THE ROCKS THROWN AT US BECAUSE IT IS ONLY WHEN YOURE FACING ADVERSITY,THAT THE TRUE SELF IS MANIFESTED. GOD BLESS TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE STEELER NATION, FROM HAWAII. OUR TIME WILL COME.

TO STEELER NATION RE: DEFENSE
HEY STEELER NATION HOW CAN THE DEFENSE B THE FAULT FOR LOSING OUR PAST TWO GAMES? THE DEFENSE OR ANY DEFENSE SHOULD NOT B HELD RESPONSIBLE WHEN THE D IS THE UNIT THAT GAVE OUR STEELERS THE OPPORTUNITIES TO SHUT THE GATES SO THE D CAN LOCK IT. THE OFFENSE CANT B HELD RESPONSIBLE CAUSE THEY ARE DOING WHAT THE COACH SENDS IN. THE RESPONSIBLITY LIES WITH THE COACHING STAFF AS TO WHY ARENT WE GETTING THE PERSONEL NEEDED TO MAKE CRITICAL PLAYS. WHY R THE COACHES RELYING ON THE D TO PLAY SIXTY MINUTES BUT THE COACHING REGARDING OUR O IS NOT HELPING ANY BY LEAVING POINTS ON THE FIELD. THOSE POINTS HELP OUR DEFENSE TO DO THE THINGS THEY DO WITH OR WITHOUT POLAMALU. THE DEFENSE IS MORE INTIMIDATING WITH POLAMALU, BUT WE ARE STOUT JUST THE SAME. OUR COACHES NEED TO WORK ON THE SPECIAL TEAMS ALSO SINCE THERE IS THREE PHASES IN A FOOTBALL GAME.OUR COACHES NEED TO STRAP IT UP SO THE BOYS CAN TRUST IN THEM AND STRAP IT UP ALSO. THE FANS NEED TO STRAP UP N NOT BELITTLE THE STEELER NATION BY CRYING OR STOOPING LOW BECAUSE OTHER TEAMS ARE. ITS NOT WHAT THE BENGALS DID THAT WE LOST, ITS ALWALYS,, WHAT ARE THE STEELERS GOING TO DO. MUCH LOVE TO ALL STEELER NATION MEMBERS FROM HAWAII. SOMETIMES IT BEST TO HEAR WHAT WE REALLY DONT WANT TO FROM ONE OF OUR OWN. WE WILL B ALRIGHT REGARDLESS OF WHAT ANYONE OUTSIDE OF THE STEELER NATION SAYS. SEE IN SAN DIEGO, HERE WE GO STEELERS HERE WE GO
Now they have exploded and I cant see

Hope you get your vision back, dude.
…MY MIND is still blown to pieces after watching the 2nd week in a row leads blown, the lack of offensive aggressivity & the usually stout D giving up points late. Good God!
I like the title of this posting though… yeah, it almost looks like our Black&Gold folks are satisfied to lose this way. Shameful.

Was more implying that the guys full on CAPITAL LETTERS APPROACH MADE IT HARD TO READ
And in no way am i satisfied, but I am more trying to tell people not to panic, nor to try and lay the blame on one or two players
If you read my post, I concluded that it was our innability to play 60 minutes. We were dominating and controlling the game on both sides of the ball for 45 minutes, then had relapse in the 4th.
I have faith however that we will turn it around, and finger pointing gets you nowhere

Satisfied
I’ve wondered that myself. Is this team too willing to rest on their laurels? Are they assuming that if they just role their helmets out there, the defense is going to get the stop at the end of the game? Did Tomlin go a little too easy in training camp?
I’m not ready by any stretch to make a change right now, but I do think this season is really starting to look like 2006 again.

I guess we'll find out huh?
My 2 cents is the offense is run like the defense still has Troy. They need to play all the way until the end of the half/game. Instead of taking the air out of the ball they need to continue to execute. Get touchdowns and quit setting up fieldgoals, especially inside the 20. They aren’t going to hold teams to 10 points without Troy in there, and they definitely don’t need to give a team the ball back and have to play 2 minute defense without him.
Anhow, I sum that up with this….they aren’t executing when they really need it. Point blank.

That about sums it up. They are finding ways to lose.
