Need help from a local pittsburger!!

my apologies not sure what you locals call yourselfs please educate me..anyways..im flying in this friday oct. 2nd and got a couple questions and queries..what i need I guess would be cross streets cuz ill have a map of course..yea ill be a lame-o tourist..but Hey I help out of towners when they come to cali so 1. anywhere to watch local bands play? 2. best place to watch multipe sports? I.e lots of screens..cuu peeps? 3. best places to chow on grub? 4. best place to buy steeler gear? cost effective? 5. best time to arrive at the stadium keeping in mind its a 5:30 game 6. places to avoid any help would be appreciated...my first trip to the steel city looking forward to it..ill be in from friday till monday..any other suggestions also welcome go steelers!!!

I don’t know the best place to buy gear, but I always buy my stuff at teh Mall at Robinson in Robinson township www.shoprobinsonmall.com/. I don’t know about local bands, but if you want to watch multiple sports you have a choice. You can get the local experience and just find a local bar, a place like Bettis’ grill or some of your mainstream national chains like BW3s or TGIFriday’s. Note: You can only buy beer either in a bar, an establishment that serves food and offers dining in facilities (someone may be able to better explain that) or at a beer distributor. At the beer distributor you have to buy it in bulk (by the case.) If I am in error here someone help me out here.
