The Offseason- Impending Free Agents on our Roster Now
Well Steeler Nation, the 2010 season has started a little earlier than we all wanted, but c'est le vie. There is only one thing to do as Steelers fans now, it's the same thing our front offices were doing at, oh... about halftime of the Jets Bengals "game", and that's look for ways to improve our team in the offseason. I personally love the offseason, I look at it as the game away from the game. We can now begin to take some in depth looks at possible free agent targets, possible draft picks, and unfortunately possible departures. Let's start with the bad news the players we may possibly lose (after we jump of course).
First, the players who started this year:
- Willie Colon, RT
- William Gay, CB
- Ryan Clark, FS
- Casey Hampton, NT
- Carey Davis, FB
- Jeff Reed, K
- Daniel Sepulveda, P
As if this list wasn't enough there are also several back ups who have played significant time for us this year and last that will also be looking for a pay day:
- Willie Parker, RB
- Deshea Townsend, CB
- Travis Kirschke, DE
- Nick Eason, DE
- Matt Spaeth, TE
- Darnell Stapleton, G
- Tyrone Carter, S
We also have a few players who have contributed, but have not played extensive downs for us:
- Patrick Bailey, LB/ ST
- Charlie Batch, QB
- Rocky Boiman, LB/ ST
- Joey Galloway, WR
That is quite a list of current players that could soon be testing the open waters of free agency. Of course, with the collective bargaining agreement still up in the air, it is hard to say who we will truly lose, and who may be forced to play by the new rules and stay.
As for the possibly departing starters, the ones that I feel we can let go with the least repercussions would be William Gay, Carey Davis and Jeff Reed. While I believe William Gay is still a solid nickel back, the young talent behind him may force his hand. His play at corner this season hasn't helped either. Jeff Reed is a complex tale. The man makes his kicks in a stadium that is not known as kicker friendly. He has always made a high percentage of his kicks though, and that cannot be overlooked. Some of the things I wish I could overlook would be the run ins with the law, which may signal a problem, either with alcohol itself or a lack of maturity rarely seen in 30 year old men. I've always liked Reed as a player, but as a person he is no doubt eccentric, to put it nicely. Carey Davis apparently plays a non-exsistent position on our team, fullback. I've heard of fullbacks before, I vaguely remember a number 35 clearing lanes for our running backs. I miss that.
Willie Colon, Casey Hampton and Ryan Clark all play major roles on our team. I never thought I'd say this, but Willie Colon is not terrible. I wouldn't go as far as saying he's a top tier tackle in the NFL (like a certain OC we know and love), but the guy is straight up tough, and has only missed a handful of snaps since being named a starter. If he's willing to not break the bank, I say bring him back. A servicable young lineman with playing experience and room for growth is hard to find, if you have one on your team, familiar with your playbook, it's hard to let him walk. Casey Hampton has been the center of our defense since his rookie season, when he was drafted in the first round, 19th overall. He's anchored our line since then and is having one of his best years as a pro this season. I would love to see Casey in black and gold for the rest of his career, but I find it unlikely. With an ever increasing number of teams running a 3-4 defense, his skillset is in high demand. I see a big one or two year payday in his future. Ryan Clark came to us from the Redskins, when they drafted the late Sean Taylor. Like many of our free agent signings he was let go perhaps a little too early, with plenty of tread on the tires, and had a few years of playing experience under his belt. Ryan is a thunderous hitter, but his coverage skills are questionable. He is worth a two year deal in my opinion, if for no other reason he should be relatively cheap in today's market, and can serve as a stop gap until we develop a future starter.
As far as the back ups go, I'd certainly welcome Willie Parker back. He's proven to be a team player this year, after losing his job to Rashard in week 4, due to injury. He has not complained once publicly that I know of. Of course, his complaints about playing time went unheeded before, as Coach Tomlin implied when he made his "I don't walk by five rushing titles" comment. I also feel that Nick Eason has earned a new contract as he's proved to be a solid end for us when called upon. His resigning combined with the age of Travis Kirschke, will most likely pushes the veteran back up out the door. Deshea dabbled in safety coverage this preseason, and may find a future home there at the right price, assuming Tyrone Carter is let go, but this too is maybe a premature statement, as Coach LeBeau is a big Tyrone Carter fan, so I've heard. I'd like to see Pat Bailey stay, but the special teams ace was not as good this year as last, and his may be the toughest cut of all of my "bottom tier" players.
In case anyone was wondering, here is a list of players who may well test free agency next season. Their status is certainly a major factor in our front offices decision making process this offseason.
- LaMarr Woodley, LOLB
- Ike Taylor, CB
- Santonio Holmes, WR
- Trai Essex, G
- Keyaron Fox, ILB
- Mewelde Moore, HB
- Chris Hoke, NT
- Dennis Dixon, QB
- Stefan Logan, KR/ PR
- Ra'Shon Harris, DE
- Tony Hills, T
- Andre Frazier, LB
- Tyler Grisham, WR
- Doug Legursky, C/ Goal line FB (remember that one time?)
- Anthony Madison, ST Gunner
- Ryan Mundy, S
- Jared Retkofsky, LS
- Greg Warren, LS
- Trai Willimas, CB
Well, there you have it. If I missed anything, let me know. What do you think we'll do?

This year's RFA
It’s important to remember that Colon, Gay, Stapleton, Spaeth, Sepulveda and Bailey are all resticted free agents this year so it’ll be very easy for the club to retain them, if they so choose. Next year’s free agents will depend on what happens with the collective bargaining agreement but most of those young guys could be restricted for a few more years.
To simplify things this off season is all about Hampton, Clark, FWP and Reed. I think FWP is gone and Reed will be easily retained. That leaves the two big question marks of Hampton and Clark. With so many teams switching to the 3-4, I think Hampton will be a highly sought after commodity and the only way we keep him is to franchise him. He’s already said he doesn’t want that and has hinted that he’ll hold out if he is tagged. Clark’s an intriguing case b/c he doesn’t have gaudy numbers but I think he has tremendous value to this team. I think Snack leaves and Clark stays.
Reed
I’m for keeping Reed but only for field goals. We have to find somebody else to KO. He puts too much pressure on the coverage unit with his short kicks. I’d like to see FWP stick around and regardless of his threats, I think they have to tag big snack. I would consider matching offers to Colon and Sepulveda but the rest can go away. Clark can stay if the price is right.
Unless
you gonna have Daniel kick off there is no reason to sign another kicker specifically for KO. That is a waste of roster space.

No need to waste that space on another kicker. besides, Daniel will tackle people.
Things can always be worse....
so just have Daniel kick fgs
too? nahh

I remember reading something like
the kicks is a different motion or something. You know from holding the ball and dropping it to kick to just swinging the leg. Like the same reason playing golf hurts you in baseball and vice versa. I really have no idea just wanted to offer some random piece of information that I heard, hope it helps. :)

From what I heard he doesn’t kick it any deeper than Reed. As tannsofsteel said punting and kicking are not the same exact motion. Similar, but not the same. I could kick a soccer ball pretty far, but when I went to punt…it didn’t go as far.

why wouldn't you be interested in keeping Stapleton?
He’s going to be dirt cheap and capable of playing all three interior line spots. He may not be starting material but he has value as a backup.
Spaeth is going to be very cheap as well. There’s no reason we shouldn’t be able to hang on to both for around 1 mill a season.
Agree on Stapleton, but I have yet to see Spaeth make a good block. Why keep a TE that can’t block, even if he is cheap? Give DJ Johnson a chance.
Mchugh is still here
he is a good blocker and seeing how spaeth caught like 4 passes for his career, who cares if he can catch

On Stapleton. The guy can play C or G and is an inexpensive versatile player. Plus he started in a Super Bowl so you know he can handle the pressure.

Stapleton had one bad game
OK, it happened to be the Super Bowl, but he held up well the rest of that season. I’m not sure what happened in the Super Bowl, maybe he ran out of gas having not been used to playing so much. Dockett was on fire throughout the playoffs, too, so it isn’t like Stapleton was giving up sacks to some schmo.
I'll put money on it
FWP will be a steeler . He is a good back up to have and he won’t command a lot of money. If L.T. couldn’t get a big deal what makes you think FWP will? I doubt he even gets offered. Willie really doesn’t have the name recognition that Tomlison had nor the talent. Running backs are a dime a dozen in this league and many people prefer to go with younger backs. Willie also is very appreciative of being given the chance to play here, something that wasn’t given to him at his college. And if you put on top of that his mentor the bus took the home town discount to stay and help mentor him so that may be of influence to him also. All these factors make me believe despite what a lot of people think willie parker will be back next season.

I'll take your money
As posted elsewhere, Parker himself has commented that he wants to compete for a starting job, and thus he expects to be leaving. As you say, RBs are a dime a dozen. We can pick up a solid backup for the veteran minimum, much less than the $2-3M that Parker would want even for a “hometown discount.” I think the team would be better off with a big back that could convert short yardage. Or a small back that could be a factor in the passing game. Parker is neither. BTW, he won’t be returning kicks, either.
First, as far as I know he has never returned a kick in his life. It’s not as easy as it looks. Second, he’s not as fast as he used to be, and probably is slower than Stefan Logan, for example. Speaking of which, we have a pretty good kick returner in Logan, and he is cheaper than Parker. Plus, Logan plays on other special teams units as well, which Parker wouldn’t.
It's not as easy as it looks
And you would know that because you were a kick returner in the NFL? Willie has extensive experience in making tacklers miss. Something Logan could not do this year. Other than the Miami game, Logan basically sucked as a returner. He was a waste of roster space and was only on coverage units to make use of him. He stunk on KO coverage. Willie certainly wouldn’t do worse than Logan.
lol
he does? Willie rarely makes tacklers miss, if he can’t out run the guy he is done. Who have you been watching these past couple of years?
Steelers football is 60 mins.
by tannofsteel84 on Jan 5, 2010 2:38 PM EST up reply actions
He hasn’t had much chance to get past the line of scrimmage the past couple of years. In the open field, I’ll take Willie any day
also, FWP has never returned a kick or punt
Not in the NFL and not that I can find even in college. What makes you think at the age 30 he can suddenly start and instantly be above average at it. If he had that ability he’d at least have gotten a shot early in his career here.
When he was a starter there was no reason to have him return kicks. As a back up that isn’t getting alot of carries, returning kicks would make use of his skills. He may not have returned kicks in college but that doesn’t mean he can’t do it and there hasn’t been anything I’ve ever heard to that effect.
my point is why not try it? Just because he’s 30 doesn’t mean he can’t catch a kick. If he can’t catch a kick then fine, he’s of no use returning kicks but if he would sign for a couple years at the veteran minimum, back up Mendy and return kicks, that would solve alot of problems. I realize there’s a good chance he won’t be a Steeler next year but I think the Steelers should give him the chance to turn down an offer
I can’t see him returning picks, sorry. My reasoning is this, FWP struggles to catch the ball out of the back field whether it be on a little screen or lined up in the slot. Also, watching him try to get out of his breaks when he does catch the ball hurts. Watch the Miami game where he was lined up at WR and he stumbled off the line and almost fell, this has happened numerous times. This may not directly translate to KO but it scares me.
Bringing the Wood!
What would we be paying MeMo for if
Willie stays on as RB and KR?
"Chris! That's a terrible word! Pussywillows..."
-Lois Griffin
I don't think we would keep MeMo if we would keep Parker as a RB and KR
We only use MeMo on PR when we are going to receive it deep in our own territory. Believe this is done because MeMo doesn’t drop balls and calls for a fair catch when Logan wouldn’t. Also, MeMo is used as our 3rd down back which I don’t think Parker can handle because he doesn’t catch well out of the backfield. Think Parker may be a little better in pickup than MeMo but neither are all that good. I love Willie just don’t want him returning kicks, but would love to see him stay and be a chance of pace back and give Mendy a break. He still adds value to our team in that sense. MeMo is becoming expendable to us.
Bringing the Wood!
MeMo is becoming expendable to us.
Sadly, I agree. I love the kid, but he is 27, only 2 years younger than not-so-FWP. He doesn’t have break out speed, and he’s not really a crafty vet. He does have good hands, but so does Logan (Logan is listed as RB/KR, BTW). Give Logan this entire offseason to get to know the NFL’s rules about returns, and to learn our offense, and that kid could be the best all around threat on the team. If we keep Logan, MeMo is expendable. Sorry Mewelde.
"Chris! That's a terrible word! Pussywillows..."
-Lois Griffin
Wow! Just checked the Wiki on Logan
He’s 28, went undrafted in ’07, picked up by the Dolphins (UDFA), but never made it off their practice squad. He only played for the B.C. Lions for 2008.
"Chris! That's a terrible word! Pussywillows..."
-Lois Griffin
Logan a waste of a roster spot???
1. Very few players in this league return kicks and punts and even a smaller number of guys do both of them well.
2. Logan was 6th in KR average (minimum 20 returns) and 13th in PR average (same minimum).
3. Of guys who do both (minimum 15 returns in both), only Clifton Smith (TB) and Joshua Cribbs sported a better average in both departments.
Logan may not be flashy and he didn’t take one to the house but he’s a far above average returner in this league.
I think the team would be better off with a big back that could convert short yardage. Or a small back that could be a factor in the passing game. Parker is neither.
That perfectly sums up why I’m not that interested in FWP.
How much smaller than Willie do you want? A big, short yardage back would be nice but if we can reasonably sign Willie, we should
Parker is plenty small, but he doesn’t catch the ball well. Ergo, we need a back that can be a receiver as well as a runner.
he wants to be a starter so it's fairly reasonable to assume that he wants to be paid like a starter
Are you willing to give him either of these two things?
If
Willie can find a team to give him a starting job then I wish him the best. I can’t think of who that team is. I don’t think he’s going to get that chance.
maybe not hand him a starting job
but I bet there are a few places that would at least tell him he can compete from the job. Or at the very least guarantee him that he’ll get more than 100 carries.
If they pay him then he should go. I still think he could help us out. Maybe we can lure Chester Taylor from the Vikes. I think He’s an UFA
CT is a frickin' beast!
And he has no problem being a back up either.
"Chris! That's a terrible word! Pussywillows..."
-Lois Griffin
Agreed. Willie wants to compete for a starting job somewhere and, probably, some team will take a chance sticking him in a rotation with a couple of other backs. Something like what the Seahawks have been trying to do with Julius Jones. Jones is still the “starter”, but he doesn’t really get a starters usual share of carries.
by BluegrassSteeler on Jan 5, 2010 2:00 PM EST up reply actions
Never once heard
him say he has to be a starter. Either way once he gets on the market and sees there isn’t much out there for him then he will def change his tune. Mendy can catch and Moore can catch. I think we have that role of a catching RB filled. If Parker does leave i think they would just upgrade Issac Redmen. I doubt he leaves though, what team would even give him a shot at starting?? Every where he goes he will be in a rotation just like here at Pitt. Lets not kid ourselves here.

I love 39 and will be sorry to see him go. While I would love to be able to work some type of deal where we keep FWP and let MeMo walk I don’t think it’s happening. I think FWP is a money player. I think NE or Cincinnati or somebody else with playoff aspirations will recognize that and sign him to a nice contract. I wish him luck.
When You Run The Ball Good Things Happen
I'd like to keep Clark and Reed
Would also like to keep FWP in some capacity, but I think he wants to be a starter, so I’m not counting on him being here next year. I will miss him.

Nick Eason, I think, is a must keep. He’s still relatively young – practically a baby compared to our starters – and he’s been a very servicable back/rotational DE for the last couple of seasons. Not to mention you can probably get him on the cheap. I say bring him back.
The biggest priorities of the offseason – CBA or no CBA – have got to be to sign both Holmes and Woodely to long term deals. Bot have proved that they’re here to stay as NFL starters and were both bright spots in the 2009 season. They’re young guys that have earned their big contract – give it to them.
If Colon is an RFA you certainly have to tender him. If he’s an FA then his status depends on what you have left after Holmes and the Wood. I would like to keep him around, especially since he’s shown a great level of dedication to get better at his position and is (now) a legit starting RT in the NFL. If we could get him to Kemo like deal that’s slightly below what he would get on the market then I think he can be kept.
I’m really torn as to whether Clark and Hampton warrent new contracts. Hampton isn’t getting any younger and while his play this year has been great (mostly) I wonder if it wouldn’t make more sense to go ahead and spend a 1st or 2nd on an NT during a draft that appears to have several promising ones in the first couple of rounds.
Clark is what he is. He’s not going to lose speed anytime soon due to age because, quite frankly, he doesn’t have much to lose. He’s a fine player against the run and is disiplined in his assingments, but he’s certainly not a coverage safety – ask him to cover anyone one on one and you’re just asking for a big play. As the NFL increasingly becomes dominated by passing teams we’ll need a FS that can hold his own against some TE’s and RB’s and occassionally a WR or two. I would also feel better with a FS that was more of a sure open field tackler – Clark loves to go for the big hit, but if he doesn’t knock the guy down initially they can blow right on by him.
I love Townsend. However, his time is over. Better to clear a roster spot for a new guy who might one day become a starter rather than a former starter who is simply over the hill.

Focus on 2011 free agents
If the Steelers cared about keeping Hampton, Clark, or Parker, they would have extended their contracts before the season started. If any of these guys get a big offer elsewhere (and Hampton certainly will), they are gone. Given the problems at safety this season, the team may make some effort to keep Clark, as long as the price is reasonable. For Parker, the writing was on the wall as soon as they drafted Mendenhall in the first round.
Kickers are more replaceable, so the team doesn’t usually extend their contracts. At this point, the Steelers may make an effort to keep Reed, although again not if he gets a big offer elsewhere. It is also possible, however, that they are tired of his short kick offs.
Once the free agency period starts, the team will focus on the 2011 free agents, primarily Woodley, Holmes, and Taylor. I fear that it will be difficult to retain all three within a reasonable salary cap.
That's why I added that part Steelin...
I feel the same way you do.
Santonio, Woodley and Ike… Who goes, in your opinion?

I hate to say it
But I think we lose Woodley. Ike is not great, but given how bad our other corners are, we have to keep him. With Hines slowing down and likely to retire in the next few years, I’d hate to lose Santonio and have to break in two new receivers, although Wallace’s emergence this year certainly gives the team more leverage in negotiating with Holmes.
Woodley is a great player, but he also wants to be paid like one of the top LBs in the league. We are already paying top LB money to Harrison. Timmons could move outside into Woodley position, or we could draft another OLB. I’d love to keep all three of these guys, but I’m not sure that the front office can make it work. Certainly not if we give a big contract to Big Casey as well.
did anyone see the comment in the P-G re: Willie Colon?
“The Steelers have to make decisions on three players who will be unrestricted free agents: right tackle Willie Colon, whom the coaches consider to be their best offensive lineman;”
http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/10005/1025839-66.stm#ixzz0bm9HuDUG
Willie Colon…coaches consider their best O-lineman…wow…
That blew me away – probably the most surprising thing I’ve ever read about the Steelers…ever.
The high amount of penalties is one thing. Mental mistakes, physical mistakes, poor technique, and physical limitations lead to what seems like a very high amount of false starts and holding penalties. He could be a road-grader-type run blocker if he had sufficient knee-bend and a nasty streak. However, he tend to get lazy, waist-bend, and rarely finishes people off – at the point of attack, or downfield.
His arms are a bit too short to be an effective pass-blocker against good edge rushers. He also tends to over-compensate by lunging (leaving him over-extended), or simply grabbing outside the numbers. If he is fortunately enough to not get flagged, he has set himself up to allow the defender to collapse into his chest – as he did a few times this past week (to which Colon responded by simply tackling the DE – I believe he gave up a sack AND got flagged on at least play on which that occurred).

He rarely sits and pops an approaching defender unless that defender has been engaged previously – he has heavy hands and sets up in pass protection very slow.
Overall, he is built short and squat, with short arms, and is probably better suited to play inside at guard, but probably lacks the mobility to pull effectively. Perhaps center, but his heavy hands would get him killed post-snap, and he obviously has no experience there.
Tender him to protect your intial investment, but don’t overdo it. He doesn’t really represent useful depth as he doesn’t project to anything but a RT.
by ithinkivehurtthisbefore on Jan 5, 2010 4:34 PM EST reply actions
I don't think you watched him this season
Colon was much improved this year. He isn’t a RT, but the coaches have put him there and he has slowly turned into a very good player. He gets flagged at least once a game, but he makes up for it whenever we run to his side.
You’re asking a guy playing out of position to be all-world? And a RT for that matter? He played his a** off this year and he deserves his money.
by StoneColdSteel on Jan 6, 2010 2:30 AM EST up reply actions
Yup-Colon is mean and nasty
and he doesn’t get hurt.
People forget how hard it is to find NFL-quality starting linemen at all. Let alone one who has any talent. And who is reliable
Agreed
Steelers need to keep Colon. He, and Kemo’s emergence this year have been a blessing for the future of this offense.
13 years and no playoff wins for the Dallas Cowboys... SWEET!
My Assessment...
•Willie Colon, RT – We gotta re-sign this guy. Not my favorite o-lineman but who else do we have? We are thin at this position and I agree that he is improving. Don’t think he will break the bank either.
•William Gay, CB – He had his chance this year. He was a good nickel back for us in 2008 but was a huge weak point on the defense as a starter this year. He is not a starting DB in this league. I suppose it will be okay if they sign him really cheap with the intention of using him on S/T and nickel/dime packages only if they promise to find another starter. I like his dancing.
•Ryan Clark, FS – Sign him if he is willing to accept a 2 year deal. I would like to see his replacement drafted rather high this year but that means we will still need him for a bit. He hits super hard and Troy likes playing with him but he is a liability in coverage. I’d like to see him play the ball more often rather than always trying to make a big hit.
•Casey Hampton, NT – They have to tag him. He had a great year this year but part of me can’t help but think he was only playing so hard b/c it was the last year of his deal. He’s too old to give a long term deal to and I think he will get fatter and lazier after a deal. He is going to want big money. It’s going to be very hard to replace him and they must address this position in the draft this year. It sucks all these teams are switching to 3-4 b/c a quality NT will be hard to come by.
•Carey Davis, FB – Who? We’d all love to see someone more like Dan Kreider back in the offense but let’s not get started on that. Remember Frank Summers? If we’re not going to install a run-blocking FB into the offense I’d like to see what Frank the Tank can do rather than re-signing Davis.
•Jeff Reed, K – We have to admit that he’s pretty damn reliable. His kick-offs leave something to be desired and his off field antics may have sealed his fate in Pittsburgh. I have no problem signing him if it is at a reasonable price. I am never nervous when he lines up for a field goal and we shouldn’t take that for granted. Remember the days of Kris Brown?
•Daniel Sepulveda, P – No brainer. Ink this guy ASAP.
•Willie Parker, RB – Thanks for everything Willie. You had some great years in the Burgh and helped us win 2 rings. However, your speed is not what it used to be and that’s all you ever really had. You can’t catch and you’re not reliable in short yardage. You are also injured way too much. I wish you the best in the future but I honestly believe the Steelers are better off without you.
•Deshea Townsend, CB – I thought Deshea would be gone after this year but he continues to show year after year that he can make some plays. I’d like to see him as safety depth rather than at corner. I like Deshea a lot as a player and a person and will always see him as a Steeler. However, I will understand if they don’t re-sign him because he is not a starting corner in this league anymore.
•Travis Kirschke, DE – Goodbye Travis. You had a terrible game against Miami and it is clear you are a liability in just about every aspect. You’ve had a nice long career but I don’t want to see you in black and gold anymore.
•Nick Eason, DE – I was pleasantly surprised by some of the plays he made this year. Not the answer as a starter but we need the depth. He’s a little older than I realized but if they sign him for a reasonable price I won’t mind.
•Matt Spaeth, TE – What a waste of a 3rd round pick! I was excited about him when we first got him but he can’t block or run after the catch. We already have a pass catching TE and there just don’t seem to be enough balls to go around for him to get involved in the passing game. Would like to see him replaced by a better run blocker.
•Darnell Stapleton, G – Sign him. He is young and has shown to have potential. I don’t see him being to expensive. Hopefully he comes back healthy next year and competes for his spot back on the line. If not then they need the depth.
•Tyrone Carter, S – Please do not re-sign Ty. I can’t even count how many times RB’s ran right by him into the end zone because he is slow and takes bad angles. Don’t remember seeing him knock away any passes either. Occasionally he will have a game like he did in Denver but those aren’t worth the agony he causes the other 15 games of the year. Thanks for everything Mr. Carter.
•Patrick Bailey, LB/ ST – Don’t really care either way. He’ll probably stick around on special teams but I will be worried if he’s on the field with the defense.
•Charlie Batch, QB – Love ya Charlie, but it’s time to retire and take that QB coach position. Dixon is ready to be the back up. Thanks for everything.
•Rocky Boiman, LB/ ST – Don’t really know anything about this guy so I’m not going to pretend that I do.
•Joey Galloway, WR – Ummmm if Belicheat didn’t see anything left in this guy then I can’t help but think we can do better as far as WR depth. Where is Shaun McDonald?
McDonald was released to make room for Tyler Palko.
Galloway is 38??? WTF?!
