I thought I would do a 'pick the winner' thread this week, as there seems to be a serious lack of traffic during the weekend. All of you must have desk jobs that let you comment like mad during the week, but forget about BTSC over the weekend. Unless, of course, there's a game.
Anyway, to my picks (winners in bold):
Chicago over Seattle: Seattle can't win on the road, and Cutler's back for Da Bears.
Green Bay over Miami: This one was kind of a coin flip for me, but it's in Green Bay.
San Diego over St. Lewis: The Rams suck, and the Chargers are going to be mad as hell after that loss to Oakland.
New England over Baltimore: Look for this to be a pretty high scoring game, but the home team edges out.
New York (Giants) over Detroit: The Lions got a fluke blowout of a crappy team last week. It will not spill over to this week.
Atlanta over Philly: The Falcons are on fire, and Kevin Kolb is starting for the Iggles.
Pittsburgh over Cleveland: Do I really need to explain this one? Very good. Moving on...
New Orleans over Tampa Bay: I think this is the week the Saints start to play like defending SB champs again.
Kansas City over Houston: The Chefs are for real this year, and the Texans are pretenders.
Denver over New York (Jets): Mile High stadium might well be the best home field advantage in professional sports.
Oakland over San Fransisco: Let the Oakland QB derby continue, and the Niners are crap.
Minnesota over Dallas: The Cowboys suck, but then again, so do the Vikings kinda. Home team gets the nod.
Indy over Washington: The Colts haven't shown any flashes of wanting to go to the SB, or even the playoffs again, however, they are going to be playing against McChoke and the Deadskins.
The Monday night game - Tennessee over Jacksonville: The Jags are in the bottom 4 of the league. Nuff said.
Well, there you have it. Make your picks and agree with me, or criticize in comments.
Happy weekend everyone!
