15 thoughts on the Steelers Dolphins game

Here are some of the things i will be watching for the upcoming game vs. the Dolphins

1. Will the O-line continue to dominate?

If they keep protecting Ben like they did, this team is gonna be scary.

2. Can we stop Marshall and Bess?

We have never been good vs. Marshall. I think leaving Troy or Clark back to double team Marshall will help. To stop Bess we need to leave one of the LB's back on each play to cover the underneath. Or just have Deebo take him out.

3. How will Ben's decision making be?

Ben made great decision's throughout the game vs. the Browns. He threw it away when he had too and he left the pocket when he had to. I was really impressed with Ben and I have been arguing with friends all week that he is a top 5 QB in the NFL (to no avail because i live among crazy Jets fans who try and say Suckchez is better then Big Ben)

4. Will Spindenhall continue to dominate?

Despite about 85 yards vs the Browns, Mendy still made a big impact vs. the Browns. He has been much better at receiving this season and can also block. He is on pace for a Pro Bowl in my opinion

5. Will BA continue to keep the game balanced?

Pretty self explanatory here. Last game he ran 35 times and threw 27. I think this week those might be reversed but as long as Pass is no more than +10 the run I will be happy.

6. Is Mike Wallace good for 1 TD every game?

I think yes. There is no CB in the NFL fast enough not to get burned at least once by Wallace. If we get a 9 yard run on 1st down I hope we try a PA fly for Wallace at least once.

7. How many sacks will we have this week?

I say 6.

8. Will Henne be able to pick up garbage yards like every other QB this year?

This is the big question. If we get a 14 to 17 point lead in the 4th Qtr, will our pass defense be exploited?

9. Will Deebo knock anyone out?

I don't think so. But i do think he plays mad and gets double digit tackles and at least 2 sacks

10. Who will the offensive standouts be?

a. Ben Rothlisberger: 310 yds, 3tds, 1 int

b. Mendy: 20 carries, 100 yds, 1td

c. Mike Wallace: 5rec, 120yds, 1td

d. O-Line: 0 sacks

11. Who will the defensive standouts be?

a. James "Deebo" Harrison: 12 tackles, 2 sacks, 1 FF

b. Lamaar Woodley: 8 tackles, 1 sack

c. Lawrence Timmons: 10 tackles, 1 sack

d. Troy Polumalu: 6 tackles, 1 INT

12. Will the special teams continue its great play?

Yes

13. How will Manny Sanders do?

4 catches, 43 yds

14? Will Hines Ward become the #3 reciever for consecutive games with at least one reception?

I think so. No reason it won't happen.

14. What will the score be?

Steelers 31

Dolphins: 13
