I know a lot of us are fuming over the no-calls against the Purple Browns last night. I wanted to make a quick comment and see what you think.
To me the officiating was very fair from a technical view. Each team had 9 penalties. They were good calls mostly (the uncatchable PI by Bmac was soso).
In a hard hitting brutal game there wasn't a single personal foul committed despite several flare-ups and the usual pushing and shoving.
This game to me was officiated as if it were 25 years ago with big hits being allowed. The hit on miller was dirty and late and deserved a flag, but a bit of me loved that the refs allowed physical play the whole night. I'd love to see every game officiated exactly like this one.
What do you think, did you like the refs letting it be rough, but being strict on things like Oher's snap cheating, Essex's weekly not on LOS, or Bmac's bumps? I did.
