The guess game is over. If you hadn't gotten a Willie Parker Steelers Jersey by now you better hurry up before the only place you can find one will be on Ebay. Colbert today made it today that they will wait till after free agency opens up to try to offer Parker and will focus on Reed, Hampton, and Clark. Townsend might also be on the way out but that will really depend on whether or not he wants to play or go ahead and retire. I really see us signing Reed and Clark. Of course as everyone already know Hampton is the big (and I do mean big) question mark between now and March 5, when free agency begins. I believe the steelers will do reed and Clark's contracts first since they will be easier than satisfying hampton's hunger. I doubt they get it done because of the simple fact the the steelers will be 'acting as if there was a cap' and well we know the redskins are wetting their pants to burn through money. Hampton and Hansworth on the same line? Yea sounds like something only done in madden but that might become a reality as we'll probably witness the redskin consum a lot of salaries especially since they are itching to win. Just a fun poll, what kind of market do you think Willie Parker will have once he gets to Free Agency..... I personally say not much....he's pushing 30's and has had 3 straight years of injuries, no one is going to get him a starting job.
What type of market will Willie Parker draw in free agency season?
He will get big bucks to be a starter (2 votes)
He'll get a reasonable offer and a chance to start somewhere (73 votes)
He'll get an ok offer nothing to brag about and will be inserted into a running back rotation (87 votes)
He won't get an offer and will re-sign with the steelers for the vet minimum (21 votes)
