Skip The Pre-Game Yawn Fest, Watch Hines and LaMarr Bowl Instead!
Hey it's Super Bowl week - last year I got totally inundated with email from companies and marketers. This year not as bad being that the Steelers are at home watching this year rather than playing in the Big Game. Nevertheless, I got a heads up about Hines Ward and LaMarr Woodley participating in NBA star Chris Paul's celebrity bowling tournament. The preview of the event can be found below - looked like a fun time for a good cause, and if there's ever a time I were to watch bowling, it just might be the few hours before the Super Bowl and an event featuring two Steelers players.

Instead of being the Chris Paul bowling tournament
they should make it the Sean Paul bowling tournament. He could scream nonsense rap that nobody can understand while they bowl. Shada madey coola asa deebee walla Shabby madey coola asa deebee balla…. How in the hell does this guy sell a million records?
NBA Action...It's FANtastic
Love the NBA. Chris Paul is a stud PG. Sorry he’s hurting but happy for my LA Lakers as there will be one less quick PG that “big-shot” D Fish and Farmar need to try to stay with. The NBA is great like the NFL (and unlike MLB) because of the salary cap and revenue sharing. Teams from San Antonio & Sacramento can compete for a world title against the NY, LA & Chicago’s of the world.
Oh and by the way, KB24 MVP. All Time Lakers scoring leader. The guy has game. Of course I loved me the “Big Parade Maker” Shaq O’Neal when he was here too. Picked Shaq in the feud but props to KB who has come a long way with me, LA and NBA fan base as a team player and leader. Looking forward to a couple home playoff games (coming Blitz?) and a Parade down Figueroa in June. Can You Dig It?
When You Run The Ball Good Things Happen
Just one question
How is this any different from watching the Pro Bowl, or those PB skills competitions? The point is to see your favorite players right? I just ask because everybody bashes the Pro Bowl, and the SB Pre-Game, which I actually enjoy both (yes, I admit it). What is the Pre-Game, other than 4 hours of people talking about football? I can handle that. That’s pretty much what I like about BTSC, a bunch of people talking football. I might take a look, just to see Hines and Woodley, but I’ll probably want to see some SB Pre-Game too. :)
