What does your Mock Draft look like?
I see all these mock drafts coming out on a daily basis, I just want to get some feedback on what Steeler Nation thinks. This should pass some time since this is going to be a boring week or 2. Post what you think for the rounds. Maybe we can get some wishful thinking going on here.
Here is a list of prospect rankings from CBSsports which projects the round in which the players are projected to bt drafted in...hope this helps. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/prospectrankings/TSX/2010
I see the Steelers having these picks
1st
2nd
3rd
4th
4th comp. (for McFadden)
5th
5th comp. (for Washington)
6th
7th
7th comp. (for Leftwich)
Also does anyone know when this coming up season's tickets go on sale?

How bout
You make an even playing field and have us pick from one of the PROSPECT RATINGS list on one of the major websites, with the assumption that the guys are getting drafted by the other teams in that order. Scout.com or CBS Sportsline are 2 that could be used. Otherwise, you’re spending half the time arguing who will be available.
Also, adding a guess on the actual pick # for the Steelers pick at each round, factoring in a guess at the other comp. picks awarded, would even out things just a bit further.
Just a suggestion. Would be more interesting i think.
I doubt we get any comp picks for Leftwich
Its true he got a rather large contract, but with us receiving picks from Mcfadden and Washington I think we’ll only end up with 2.
I tried something like that last year (not here).
Picked using about 15 sites opinions of who would get taken ahead of the Steelers and listed them. Then had everyone vote for anyone left for the Steelers pick. I thought it worked ok, though not sure how much it stopped arguing on who was available.
Heck it’s the NFL dead season, any idea to keep us busy for the next month is a good one.
If you buy a foreign made product you give money to a person who will not be buying an American made produdt that you get paid to make. Think about it next time you're at the store.

I don't think we will get 3 comp picks
You have to remember they issue 32 total comp picks. I think a 4th and a 6th if we are really lucky. Noone really knows the formula but it involves size of new contract, playing time, post season accolades, and when teh person was drafted. Remember we only got a 4th for Faneca’s departure and he was a 1st rd pick, signed a huge contract, played every offensive down that year adn made the probowl.

1st Iupati
2nd Nate Allen FS USF
3rd Cam Thomas NT UNC
4th George Selvie OLB USF
4th comp. (for McFadden) Darryl Sharpton ILB UM
5th Brandon Deaderick DE Bama
5th comp. (for Washington) LeGarrette Blount RB Oregon
6th Harry Coleman SS LSU
7th Justin Cole San Jose State
Don’t think we get three comp picks
I getting tired of saying this: Dick LeBeau’s system is so complex very few rookies can make an impact.
