Lame ass Fans ..
I can't believe I just read this:
http://www.usatoday.com/sports/football/nfl/colts/2010-02-08-colts-homecoming_N.htm
I mean I know it was snowing and I know they lost, but come on are you telling me only 11 people turned up at the airport to welcome back their beloved Colts ????
That has to be one of the weakest efforts I can think of ...
Totally lame on the part of the Colts "faithful" ..

That is really sad. Well, if you can’t support your team, win or lose, you don’t deserve one…

lucky for me here in NC, my best pals are die hard fans of their teams(even if its for the Skins and cheatriots). we talk a lot of crap to each other. There are a lot of people here who are super bandwagon…even for their"home" team(Panthers). And the Colts is another one. Maybe its their colors, or Manning and him being in tons of commercials. i betcha if you put Ben in a DirecTV or hell even shaving cream(he needs a shave), he will be as popular as 9-9 Peyton Manning
I was at SB and the Colts contingent was weak
I will post on this in a bit but the Colts fans do not travel well at all.
Seemed pretty filled with Saints fans…from a TV perspective.

I heard on the radio
that people from Miami were rooting for the Jets to make it. When the SB was in Miami in 06 with the colts, they didnt get a big spike in the local economy they wanted.
Colts fans suck anyways.
Have you ever read anything on their blog?
That guy is the most infuriating writer I’ve read on SBNation (BigBlueShoe). I know I am a homer, but that guy is so bias it hurts my head. Don’t get me wrong, he knows his stuff, but he does believe the Colts and Manning can do no wrong.

Really?
someone also mentioned that rings defines teams not quarterbacks
Really or was that dan marino who has an account? Because i seriously doubt if terry bradshaw doesn’t win a super bowl he would still be in the hall of fame

So much for the 12th man...
only 11 people turned up at the airport to welcome back their beloved Colts ????
Never forget, the refs lost them that game
Even though a stupid late hit penalty kept the non-scoring drive alive late in the 4th…

I went over to the Colts page
and some of them was crying over the 2pt conversion call…… like it had anything to do with the game…. and its utterly stupid to complain about 2pts when you lost by 14…………the call was good soon as the guy was touched and crossed the plain the play was over and the ball got knocked out of the guys hands after the guy was touched, its good….. I can’t believe they are focusing on that instead of their master choke artist QB who threw the pick-6 to seal the game for the Saints.

Do teams want people to meet them at the airport?
Is that kind of stuff announced and are people encouraged to go? Who’d want to go to this?
The buses left the ramp without a word from anyone on the team. The closest any of the 11 fans got to the Colts was the other side of a security fence several hundred feet away.
It was a frigid Monday afternoon, most people were probably working or trying to stay warm.
The steelers won’t loose, but if they (or Pens) lost the fans would show up in droves.

Sad
Just sad. 11 people? That’s some stuff I would have a hard time holding back against if I were a player.
We increased our offensive production by 1,000 yards but our points by only 3 touchdowns?

Who Dey?
JETS DEY!
I doubt they even knew. Article said the fans "area" was behind a security fence several hundred feet away.
so for all they knew
no one was there to greet them….. yea thats what happens when you throw away 16-0 and then lost the super bowl, how silly is that, you say we’re not going for 16-0 because we want to win the super bowl… then lose it, not saying that they had anything to do with each other but some things just look bad, and i kno the fans are sore because many of them wanted the 16-0 and were promised a super bowl ring instead and now you get neither

Both of those things combined
might have broken Pey-Pey’s back. However, it IS Peyton, so he might come back next year pissed off, and play like it…

This is true
I just hope we see “broken Manning” next season. That oughtta shut the pundits up.

11 is a good number
22 would have been better, but you can only have 11 on the field at one time.
