J-Peezy coming back?
Has anyone heard any news about Joey Porter coming back? My dad said he saw something about that on Sportscenter and I was wondering if anyone knew the whole story if there is one. Joey coming back would be great, that D needs someone like him to light a fire under their asses and get the team back to playing Steeler Football. I know he's getting long in the tooth but we could use his type of leadership and he can still play. Thanks!

From all reports he is still in Arizona interviewing
with Pittsburgh West, with Larry Foote.
I don’t think I remember anyone saying that the Steelers were looking at him.
However, it was rumored that Foote might come back…

Yeah SteelFever is right
He wants to be a 3 down Linebacker, he wont get that in Pittsburgh
From what Ive heard, Foote has openly said he wants to be a Cardinal too
I strongly believe when one signs, the other will follow (meaning Foote/Porter)
Can you imagine that? Next season Arizona may have 3 of our 4 starting linebackers from SuperBowl XL
Without me, youre only you
It's the Whiz trying to recreate that championship team

lol
If he wants to do that then he needs to have someone other than Matt Lienart leading the team.
Steelers football is 60 mins.

Maybe he can talk Tommy Gun out of football purgatory…

That team stands no chance winning the division
No Warner, No Boldin. They can bring in all the LB’s they want…this year SF takes over the division.

Seriously...
I would have thought the Whiz had learned a thing or three from the Rooney’s…

...and I failed to mention Rolle and Dansby
All this vulturing off Pittsburgh…it makes you wonder what Whisenhunt can really do. The real stars on that team were already there when he showed up. I could be wrong on that, but I wonder if the Rooney’s felt Whiz couldn’t really think for himself. Honestly it doesn’t seem likes he’s added much since he’s been there.
I bet you Whiz laid back in his interview with the Rooney’s thinking the job was in the bag…meanwhile Tomlin comes in, guns blazin, and wow’s the crap out of them.

even though Porter and Foote were not with Pittsburgh last year
I still consider them coming from our system…I know that’s how Whiz sees it. It’s all he knows…in my HO.

to parrot the rest....
everything I’ve read said he prefers Pittsburgh West, but that doesn’t mean it’s official.
