Around SBN: Nevin Shapiro Vows To Bring Down Miami

7 TITLES

Can The Steelers win their seventh Super Bowl championship without Ben at Quarterback?  Which quarterback in the upcoming draft would you spend your number one pick on?  I think the quarterback from Oaklahoma would be a solid choice.  He looks NFL ready.  The Steelers may be in need of new team leadership from that position.  The Rooney family has tough decisions ahead of it.  Until Ben is charged with anything, he will remain our Number 1 quaterback.  I however, think it may be time to look for that insurance policy.

I am new to the site. I did not see the poll…However, draft ideas are interesting to listen to.

Well, it seems he only joined two days ago.

Probably just to troll (I now consider pretty much all Ben threads to betrolling from this point forth).

Hey, an out is an out - unless you're Mario, in which case it's probably two outs. -UtesFan89

Why can't Mendy bust a long TD run? We could use it.

yeah, it totally sounds like a good idea to trade up to the number one pick in the draft

or even spend our pick on a QB. youre either a troll, or just really stupid

Welcome to BTSC RockStorm

You are right about the Rooneys…they have some tough decisions ahead of them. It will be interesting to see what plays out this year. I’d rather be excited about the draft, but Ben has created a discomfort for all Steelers fans about the upcoming year.

With the 18th pick of the 2010 NFL Draft the Pittsburgh Steelers select Florida QB Tim Tebow. (not a RB!)

Ben's not going anywhere soon.

I’d be stunned if the Steeler management doesn’t give Ben another chance to clean up his act. Legally, I don’t think there’s any way we lose him for the season. Not unless the league gets involved by handing down some kind of suspension. But that might look an awful lot like tampering on the part of the other team owners.

There isn't any QB

in this draft worthy of a high 1st round pick. There are technicians who will have decent careers.

nice to have you on. Plain and Simple we need Ben so we can win the SB. With Dixon we can finish 500 or better. Look at this year we just missed the playoffs with Ben at the helm. This division is gettting tougher. We cant waste a first round pick on QB. We made playoffs before with Kordell and Maddox. All Bens issues will clear up. And when he starts winning games people will start to forget this brainfart of his

All Ben's issues will clear up?

I believe we heard that kind of talk after the crash, and then of course after the 1st allegation. It’s complete blind faith to believe in Ben at this point. To many let downs in the off season.

The time maybe coming when trading him away warrants some serious consideration. I happen to agree that even if BB isn’t here, there is no QB that intrigues me in the 1st round. I would be happy to give DD a season to see if he can really play in this league.

13 years and no playoff wins for the Dallas Cowboys... SWEET!

WORST post ive ever read. the original post that is.

BEN is the franchise.

we have an excellent 3rd year QB in Dixon.

It may be time to stop burning ben at the stake unless and until he is found quilty. even then hes no going anywhere.

for christ sake weve had steeler players shoot at cops and police copters and the rooneys still talked the police into letting them go.

you do realize dan rooney is friends with the president of the ENTIRE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA…..

wake up kiddo ben is not leaving the burgh

stillers forums.com may you rest in peace. you rat basterds.
