Steelers FO aces with Clark and Allen
http://nfl.fanhouse.com/2010/03/09/steelers-played-the-game-perfectly-with-ryan-clark/
Loved the point at the end: not only do we keep Clark for reasonable cash, we now have a good backup safety and help on special teams with Allen. Perfect resolution of a troubled position for us last year.
On a side note, I love our moves, but wonder how the final roster will shake out whenever we pick up new guys. There's only so many seats on board.

and where are
all the posters who said 4M was too much?
I look forward to their criticisms of the FO,
Who said 4 mil was too much?
I know it was said that someone will overpay him…meaning pay mor ethan the Steelers would and that was true. He just took the lower offer to stay.

the folks
who claimed that 4.5 million was far too much and those that said that even if his agent has said 4.5 was his bottom line the Steelers were not even going to bother making an offer. Naming names is a litte impolite.
I am pleased to see him back, and think the 5 they will be paying him is fair.
People questioned his character, his personality and the honesty of his agent. Now he is back where he belongs, a classic hitter to play beside Troy.
It is amazing how fast people jump to conclusions and how fast one can go from hero to goat.

I appreciate the guidance, but just because it is permissable doesn’t mean I have to engage in it.
However, if you are suggesting those comments were not made, I will go did them up for you.
No guidance was given, just letting you know.
I wasn’t suggesting. I was asking.
