Appeal Routes for Big Ben

So I finally managed to track down a complete copy of the CBA online.

After BB gets the disciplinary letter he has 20 days to appeal.

The thing I was interested in was whether or not the PA could appeal without Ben's authorization.  The answer is set out in Article X! s. (1)(a) and it is a resounding no.  The player either has to file the appeal himself or give permission for the appeal to be filed.

Effectively this means there will likely be no appeal.  That is really a pity because I was very curious to find out what a neutral arbitrator would have said about the suspension, but now this would create too much risk for BB.  I guess we will never know.
