The Dallas Cowboys have jumped the 'shark' once again, this might be an anomaly but I got a feeling this is a precursor for things to come in the Big 4 Major sports here in the Sates. I whizzed by the Dallas Morning News website to read up on Mark Cuban and his choking Mavericks and I casually saw some early pics of the Dallas Cowboy mini-camp and low and behold what do I see on the practice Jerseys of the CowMen? Commercial advertising! Yes that's right, Jerry Jones has struck a deal with AT&T and for the foreseeable future all of the Dallas practice jerseys will have a At&t logo on the top left corner (and I wouldn't be shocked if jock-straps and socks were included)...Loud and Proud!
What's next Game Day Jerseys? Is Jerry Jones a smart business man or money whore? Maybe both, he does have to find a way to pay off that ridiculously huge billion dollar stadium and what better way to do it than 'whore out' every piece of Cowgirl paraphernalia! Here's hoping that system of business never gets to the 'Sunday' outfit level for the NFL but my gut is telling its coming.....!
