Not sure where you live, but here in Houston, TX, for the two weeks that followed Ben's ordeal (lack of a better term) the Sports Talk Radio was DOMINATED with Ben bashing as I am sure much of the same was going on in other markets.  I am not talking about a segment or two, I am talking about the entire 4 hours of drivetime for two damn weeks.  Ben this, Ben that, we've all heard it so I am not going to go on with that part of it but now this deal with Brian Cushing has come down and they are defending his ass like it is their job which it is because Sports Radio 610am in Houston is the Texan's flagship station.  My question to you all after the jump.

Ben put himself in a horrible situation, that is without question.  My question is which is worse, being a dumbass when you're drunk trying to have fun or being a cheater?

Personally, although I don't condone Ben going into that room with that girl under those circumstances, I think that being a cheater is worse than being a dumb ass that needs to realize he doesn't need to be getting hammered in publice let alone in college town bars.

What do you guys and girls think about this?  Their suspensions are pretty much equal although Ben's could be 6 and Cushing's is 4 no matter what assuming he pisses clean from here on in.

Another thing that bothered me was he pissed hot in September and the league didn't do anything about it until the appeal procedure went through with obviously took close to 9 months.  This dude won the Defensive Rookie of the Year after they  and he knew he pissed hot.

Now they are talking about dumb ass Peter King starting a movement for the AP voters to make Cushing return the award and give it to the guy who finished 2nd?
