First Post, 78th Roster guess

I've been lurking for over two years. I finally joined and finally posted. I'll try to make my roster a little interesting with commentary on the open spots and skipping the gimmes.

QB - Ben/Batch

They aren't keeping four QBs on the active roster and while it would be unceremonious I think Charlie is let go once Ben is back.

OL - Legursky, Jonathan Scott, Foster, Urbik/Hills

I'm reserving the right to decide on Urbik/Hills until I read some training camp reports. I also think it's possible they only keep nine OL if Pouncey does indeed win the job over Essex because then every back-up will have flexibility at two spots.

WR - Pretty well sewn up.

TE - Johnson/McHugh

Plenty of people have talked about this but I'll mention it as well: Spaeth isn't going anywhere (most likely). He's the only real pass catching threat they have behind Miller. The H-back spot is the only one really up in the air. I'm leaning toward Johnson because he's younger, a better blocker, and has the opportunity to contribute on ST.

RB - Dwyer and Summers make it in my book. The guess work is with Redman/Taylor.

If Redman has his conditioning to a professional level he might convince the steelers to keep five RBs. Taylor would have to be a crushing blocker and ST contributor to make it.

DL - I think it looks a lot like last year but with Harris in place of Kirschke.

LB - I'm leaning towards Gibson sticking. STer as the ninth. Kick coverage will be more interesting to watch than ever, seeing as how last year it was abysmal to watch. I'll toss out a guess with Sylvester sticking followed closely by Doggett.

DB - This one comes down to Burnett/Butler in my mind. Burnett might get the nod since it's unlikely anyone would pull Butler from the PS but that's another one I'll leave for camp.

ST - Logan/Burnett/Brown I'll ask a question with this one. Do you think if Logan has a return TD in preseason he's a lock?

Thanks for indulging me, I know I didn't say much of substance. Just trying to get this first post out of the way.
