1.  The Pirates start off the second half of the season. Looking for a change in fortune the Pirates turn to the one who started the first half.  Zach is back. After a stint on the DL and some work in the minors let's hope he comes back and gets it done.  Can we beat the pesky Astros please?

The old porn theater on the North Side is going to be the backdrop in an upcoming movie ("One For the Money").  The old relic was been renewed for the shooting.  Locals were caught by surprised because they lobbied hard for it to be shut down.  Apparently they thought it was reopened.  Yikes.  Courtesy of Triblive.com

4.  Minor Earthquake in D.C. at about 5 a.m. this morning.  Did any of you Maryland W.V. folks feel it?  It was supposedly felt in MD, VA, WV and PA.  Johnny?

5.  I have roots in Louisville, KY, so I will represent the homeland by telling you that the extortion trial against Karen Sypher as accomplished a milestone.  The jury has been selected; the plaintiff?  Rick Pitino.

6.  All you Hampton Roads people.  I still have a fondness in my heart for that area.  I still love the Norfolk Tides.  Even better news.  The UFL is coming to Norfolk!  They will most likely be called Virginia [no mascot yet].  What is your suggestion for a team name.  I like one of these: Cotton Mouths, Vipers (semipro team already has this one), Spiders, Black Widows or Virginia Arns.
