3rd and short

Mendenhall's success rate on third-and-short was 50 percent. By comparison, Indianapolis' Joseph Addai converted nearly 80 percent of his attempts.

My guess is Addai did not convert those attempts out of 3TE set. It was probably 3WR, Clark at TE, against nickel or dime defense.  A lot easier to block 5 or 6 guys rather than 8 or 9 in the box.  Arians big problem is he tips he play way too often, and our line is not good enough to block a loaded box.
