Welcome to the ice cold brutality of the AFC North T.O., yes u played in the uncomfortable cold of Buffalo for a year and yes you played for a year n the unforgiving cold of Philadelphia but you're now back in the Mideast where the Hits and Frozen Tundra is Best! Not to mention the pressure to win immediately will be the icing on the 'tiger cake' for a team that now has Palmer, Chad, Benson a pretty good defense and of course U
The AFC North might not be rated as the best division from a talent point of view but it rivals any division when it comes to a physical/beat down play-style and as far as I'm concerned the AFC Norris division is the real Black/Blue division (yes I include the Browns as well when I talk about hard-intensity, there record has been porous this decade but for the most part when u play the Brownies you're in for a tough game even in a blowout win)
T.Owens u might be built like a Gold's Gym but your track record clearly shows that you're allergic to playing a true physical style of football (i.e. the hesitancy to run pass patterns across the middle, at this pt in your career, is one big indicator)
Good to No luck Terrell O ...I'm of the opinion you will be irrelevant and a non-factor (much like last season with the Bills) once the calendar flips to November 1, where you'll then be required to deal with Old-Man Winter while concentrating on the football field...that's just not you Terrell, prove me wrong (play like u did when u were a Eagle) and I'll come back and write a new blog talking about how great of a season you had BUT first thing first...my money Bet (the very little I still got in this recession) is going towards you coming up dry and stale on all that Popcorn You and 'Overrated-Cinco' ordered last night while watching re-runs of your reality shows. See u during Week 9 and 14, that's if you and Och don't implode and sabotage the whole Cincinnati Bengal season before the bye week!
(p.s.) I know Bengals coach Marvin Lewis was saying all the right things during his NFL Network interview but his facial expression and body language gave me the impression he did not want T.O. any where near his team but when his owner, Mike Brown, is gloating over Terrell like a new born baby, I guess Lewis had no choice. This isn't the first time Marvin has been over-rode with player personnel choices (i.e. Chris Henry being brought back to the team for the 3rd time last offseason) and I'm sure it won't be the last!
