Many thanks to Johnny for throwing up a few notes about what he will be keeping an eye on when the six-time Super Bowl champion Pittsburgh Steelers hit the road to take on the New York Football Giants in what will be the second preseason game for both squads. Many of you jumped in with other storylines to keep an eye on as head coach Mike Tomlin and his staff try to whittle down the deep Steelers roster down to 53 men by early September. Tonight and the third preseason game will go along way towards determining which guys on the fringe earn a helmet, which are heading to the practice squad, and which may be jettisoned out of town in search of a better opportunity for playing time.

Last week I was traveling during the game and was unable to watch and converse with you all during the action. Not the case tonight. I'll be watching with computer in hand when the team's face off at 7 pm eastern time on the NFL Network. Join me and other Steelers fans here for some Saturday night fun.
