Redskins Sign Tyrone Carter
I think the Redskins are the already the laughing stock of the NFL and they have gone and signed ex-Steeler Tyrone Carter. I don't mind a guy making a living and I know he has a lot more on his plate than most players do with a wife that is disabled and kids to look after, but he surely can't help them really!? I thought he should have been out of Pittsburgh after that playoff game against Jacksonville.

as long as it isn’t with the steelers lol
Steelers football is supposed to be 60 mins, recently it's been 45. The additional 15 are currently under construction.

you have to feel good about the guy and congratulate him
He has a job at least. But i hope the Redskins know what they are getting

Franco made that play because he never quit on the play. He kept running, he kept hustling. Good things happen to people who hustle."
Just because he can't excel on our defense
doesn’t mean he can’t be a HUGE contributor with that bunch of guys. TC was a pretty stout hitter and he did the best he could and he has battled big adversity. I hope he plays well for them. If you led the country in tackles playing in the Big 10, you can play some football. Not his fault he was no TP, who is?

I think they signed Tommy Maddox and Najeh Davenport too. They had to move fast before the Cardinals signed him..

I just read that Carey Davis is coming to camp with the Redskins also…
good pickup

Well...
Big Mike Sellers ain’t what he used to be. Some “competition” would do him good. (Don’t tell him I sad that.)
I bet a fun thing would be to go way back in time to where there was going to be an eclipse and tell the cave men, "If I have come to destroy you, may the sun be blotted out from the sky." Just then the eclipse would start, and they'd probably try to kill you or something, but then you could explain about the rotation of the moon and all, and everyone would get a good laugh.

Mike Sellers
was great for us when he played in the CFL. I never heard anything bad about him while he was here or since.
How do I break it to the cat that since he has been declawed, the rabbit he sees in our backyard would kick his sorry butt?

He's had a good run in Washington too...
But time has its way of reaching everyone, even the iron man from Walla Walla.

Time
has a nasty way of creeping up on a person.

The Redskins have NO depth at all, since they trade away their mid-round draft choices...
..so when Sellers and Karim Moore go down with pre-season injuries, they have to go after aging veterans let go by other teams. Sincere good luck to Tyrone and Carey, but this just shows the difference between a front office that knows what it’s doing, and one that doesn’t know jack.
I would kill everyone in this room for a drop of sweet beer.

Good for Tyrone
He doesn’t have the physical tools to be a top tier nfl safety, but he has the heart and deserves another shot in this league.
Eh good for him
He does play lights out with a tonne of passion. Just a shame he chooses to wear bricks on his feet
Without me, youre only you

OK...
I’m happy Ty Carter found a spot. Great guy! I wanted to see him gone a few years back and posted as such. That Jags playoff game sealed his fate with me. He looked like a high schooler out there trying to tackle Garrard.
Hope he gets paid
Seeing Carter in the game for us was always worrying, chiefly because it usually meant Troy was out, and no he was never a great player for us. But his attitude and work ethic were second to none. He gave everything he had and we expected too much of him. He’ll be a more than useful player for the Skins, even if it is as a backup and I think he’ll be just the sort of guy to actually get more than that under Shanahan. He’s going to turn up and bring 100% every practice and set a great example for some of the other guys they have there.
I have big problems with guys blessed with talent who rock up, don’t want to work hard and expect to sail on through. I may get annoyed with guys who blow the odd play or simply don’t have the athletic ability to truly succeed in the NFL, but Carter’s earned every cent he’s made in the NFL and I only wish him well. Same went for Larry Foote when he left last year, and the same goes for DeShea and a host of other former Steelers.

They signed him for the same reason the Packers signed Anthony Smith a couple of years back
He has experience in the 3-4 something that is lacking over in D.C
I'm getting tired of saying this: Dick LeBeau’s system is so complex very few rookies can make an impact.
